Wolverine State Brewing is by far one of our Favorite Brewery in Ann Arbor. The staff goes above and beyond to offer us an amazing and personal experience each time we enter their doors. It’s hard to top excellent customer service however the beer here does by a long shot. The people are AMAZING but what’s more AMAZING (believe it or not) is the beer. And also the pulled pork nachos! My fiancé and I have been ordering them for over 5 years and they have yet to disappoint us. We recommend to everyone who visits Ann Arbor!

Beer and pulled pork nachos were great. My brisket came cut with the grain, like pulled pork. It was super dry and didn’t seem to have much fat. I’d give it a second chance if it was sliced correctly. The beer is great though Do you always cut the brisket with the grain? It should be sliced against the grain

I've been coming here off and on since they opened. Great lagers. Watching them grow and expand their menu and just all around improve as they gain experience has been awesome. I highly recommend going in and having a beer or two,at the least try a flight and get a taste of the diversity and awesomeness that is their beer. The mug club seems cool but I live too far away to join. Their staff are on top of service and can even be friendly overtime. Again, I highly recommend it.

Great food (nachos are my go-to) and the beers are nice if you like lagers. This place used to have great hours but since covid they aren't open past 10 on Thursdays which is a huge bummer. The place is packed Thursday nights but they turn the main lights on at 10PM on the dot, and turn TVs off. Hope they can extend the hours soon, as this is a great place to hangout in the summer.

I love the beers and the food (nachos are great!), but on multiple occasions have experienced pretty rude service. Most recently, the server watched me wait in line, waited for me to approach the bar, and look me in the eye and tell me I missed last call 5 minutes ago when I tried to order a draft beer, 15 minutes before closing. The hours are pretty inconvenient but manageable, if some staff weren’t so unpleasant.
