Bravo Cucina Italiana

This place is what Olive Garden wants to be when it grows up! Visited during a trip to The Big House. My new favorite restaurant. Great service, good prices, and perfect food. We started with the Crispy Shrimp Napoli.. absolutely fresh and delicious. That could have been a meal in itself, but it was just the beginning. I really enjoy a wedge salad, but they don't have one. The waitress informed me that the Insalata Della Casa was similar and I would like it - she was right! For the entree, I went with the Spicy Scallop Marinara - without the spicy and finished the entire hefty plate of scallops, pasta, Cellini, & caramelized onions BEFORE I GOT A PICTURE!! I get too emotional to talk about the breadsticks and roasted red pepper olive oil dip, so I wont! i found out they have a store closer my home. Will definitely be visiting again.

Better food than service, with rather high and unjustified prices. I ordered the Diavolo and my friend ordered a salmon dish; both were good and we left our plates cleaned. Our server was clearly in a bit of a frenzy with all her tables. I don't hold that against her (it speaks more of the restaurant's management than anything), but it is something to make note of. The Diavolo was great and had a very mild heat to it. The sauce was nice and creamy and the chicken pieces I added were worth the extra $3. My friend also enjoyed her salmon. Voices in the restaurant carry, so don't expect to have a particularly private conversation.

Waitstaff was excellent. Menu selections were uninspired and seem to be based on what some CEO thinks patrons want based on a trip to a supermarket not a trip to Italy. Atmosphere was pretty flat. Nothing special. Forgettable until my credit card statement comes to remind me of the $200 dinner where I left with a full belly and no interest in returning. Waitstaff was excellent.

We went after a daddy daughter dance. My friends both had the lasagna and I ate the tenderest pork chops I've had in a long time. The place was surprisingly not crowded and our server was excellent. I'm usually partial to Olive Garden when I'm near Briarwood but I was surprised at how well everything came out. My daughter had the fettuccine alfredo but she told me later after we left that she likes olive garden better. We will be back though.

Good food, but not as child friendly as you’d hope. They have paper on the tables for kids to color on, but this is our second time here that they handed us a hot plate for our child without warning. Luckily my partner intercepted it from the server. The wait for a table wasn’t bad on a Friday night, but waiting for the food was. Tv in the bar area was surprising because the rest of the restaurant looks a bit high class. The noise level is good for a restaurant this size, until they put the music on ;(
