Big Boy

I was a little disappointed. when me and my party arrived it took a good 10 minutes for the waitress to even notice us then we could not get the breakfast bar they had already started taking it down so we ordered off of the menu which turned out to be not so bad the breakfast was actually very good and satisfying our waitress was way more attentive after she had got to the table I'm sure she was just busy when we got there I would recommend this place to anyone it was the first time I've ate bog boys since childhood.

I hadn't been to a Big Boy restaurant in quite a long time. My wife wanted to try one, so we stopped here. Not a bad choice. The outside is quite nicely decorated. The inside was a little dated, but not bad. Overall, it was a nice space. The service was excellent. I overheard several of the waitstaff greeting customers by name, which I took as a sign that there are many who dine here often. The food as OK, but not as good as I remember. We both had an original Big Boy burger. It was good, but rather small. The fries accompanying the burger were OK. Nothing to shout about, though. I had coconut cream pie for dessert. That was quite tasty. Overall, a good experience with excellent service. I may come back and try a breakfast. The food on the buffet looked pretty good.

Food made us sick. Salad bar had fruit flies, warm food and the soup was cold. Service was good which is the only reason it got two stars. We both got burgers, they took a long time to come out and the restaurant was empty. To add a salad bar to a burger was over $5 and the salad bar was just gross. Its way more expensive that the other big boys. Won't be back here.

The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because the employees were nice and after arguing with the manager he finally remade a sandwich. We ordered ahead, and gave a time (twice), because we were traveling on a time crunch. The food was obviously made too far ahead, the sandwiches were dry, fries almost cold. There were a couple things not even made right, but after the manager started arguing that they made it perfectly the way we asked - didn't bother to mention the rest. Very sad customer service.

I really wish Big Boy Restaurants had not eliminated several of their menu items. Two of my absolute favorite entrees are gone. I have always been happy with Big Boy Restaurants, so I still gave you a 4 star rating. The service is always top notch, food is good, and fair prices. Still... I do not visit your establishment like I used to. Anyhow, I have been informed that Big Boy Restaurants will soon be a thing of our past...

Service was ok. Waitress seemed bothered by having a job to do that day. Food was as good as Big Boy can be. But I think they should take Liam off the register and move him to the back as a cook or prep cook. He was not very personable. Didn't say one word to us as we were checking out. Didn't ask how everything was. Didn't tell me the total of the bill, didn't say thank you when I handed him the money, didn't say thank you have a nice day as we were leaving...maybe he is mute...I don't know, but even a smile would've went a long way with this kid. Maybe this is why we don't really frequent the Big Boy anymore.
