The food was so good. If you're used to the normal Chinese restaurant food in the Detroit area, you'll be impressed. Obviously, being next to the university requires it to make food to the level that will satisfy the Chinese student population. Most of the 30 or so restaurant guests were Chinese. TK WU does a great job. Service was good. Presentation was good. Definitely recommend. I wish they were closer to home. I'm so tired of Chinese food that all tastes the same no matter what you order.

I love this place. While it is a lot smaller than a lot of other places Ann Arbor has to offer, it is a solid pick for anyone who ones great food at affordable prices while being treated as family. I had this desire to eat a very specific flavor combination and could not put my finger on what I wanted. The Cha-Chun noodles dish was EXACTLY what I was looking for. It had that savory, charcoally taste which just gives you that hug you need on a cold winter's night. The tea is perfectly brewed for you. I would definitely visit again when I am back here in Ann Arbor.

Unbelievable. SO GOOD. I don’t like Chinese food and went with a Chinese food lover, and we were both shocked at how great it was. It felt authentic and clean, the service was fast, it was very reasonably priced (entrees around $12-$15). This restaurant was the highlight of visiting Ann Arbor. The food was delicious and all tasted homemade. The chicken was just crispy and the soup was flavorful but not too salty. We left full but not feeling the with the uncomfortable feeling that always follows unhealthy food.

Honestly, don’t know what to say at this point. We ordered way before another table who arrived 15 mins after we did, and they got all of their food (four dishes) before we got even one dish. They even ordered a dish that we ordered, yet they got it before us. Asked the waiter why it was taking so long, told us the chef didn’t get to our order yet….???? The server then went to the table behind us (who also arrived and ordered after us), and apologized for the delay. Where was our apology? Was super rude about everything after that point, even though we waited close to an hour for food. Also, the restaurant was way too crowded; the tables were too close to each other. My son had to move his chair in until he was uncomfortable because the tables were so close together that the back of the chair of another table was touching my sons chair. Peking duck wasn’t even close to what is served at other restaurants. We specifically asked them beforehand if it was like Peking duck served at other restaurants (cut properly), they said yes. When it came, there were still bones in the duck. How are we supposed to wrap the duck meat in the tortilla if there are bones in it???? Then they kept insisting that different restaurants have different ways of making dishes. Don’t call it Peking Duck then. Didn’t offer us to change the dish or anything. It was my son’s fifth birthday. We ended up taking his cake home and didn’t even celebrate his birthday in the restaurant. Also, they charge a $3 fee for “non cash payment”, which we didn’t even know about until looking at the receipt. Won’t be coming back again. Better Chinese food and service can be found anywhere else.
