Ok, out of the gate I have to say this place has the best cheese curds I've ever put in my dirty mouth. They're so good I'll probably file a lawsuit demanding the recipe Monday morning. Overall I was pleasantly surprised as most breweries just serve food to be serving food but this place did not disappoint. The ribs were very good and the short rib mac and cheese was excellent! Oh yeah, and the beer, great stuff also :-) I had the steelhead red.

Really love coming here. Great craft brews for a lot less than your think. Staff is very attentive and willing to help when people are looking to step out of their comfort zone booze wise.

Lovely, rustic beer cellar in a genuinely old basement. Often serving fresh Kellerbier straight from the tank.

Super cool place for beer and other drinks which they serve with "free" popcorns. They have a decent food menu, I love their sliders.

I went on a date night in June 2018 and we really enjoyed our time here. Very authentic German atmosphere in downtown Ann Arbor. The bartenders were very knowledgeable about the beer selection and took extra time to pour good drinks. If you’re not a beer drinker there is an excellent selection of scotch (really good scotch selection) and ample supply of popcorn. Also there is an interesting menu of German fusion items and highly recommend that chicken schnitzel. The bartender was very nice, friendly, and knowledgeable about the drinks, food, and culture.

Nice bar. Reasonably quiet when we arrived at 9:00 on Friday night. Got busier and louder by 10. Excellent beer and drinks. We had a couple items from the menu to share. The schnitzel sliders on pretzel buns we very tasty. The potato skins were good, but not great...not so much flavor. Overall a good place to sit, have a drink and just hang for a while.

I was very pleased by the beer selection here - great for those who love good beers or are looking for something different from the usual bar selections. The food menu is limited to appetizers, but what we tried, we liked. The soft pretzels were divine, and the sauerkraut & potato croquettes were something out of the ordinary but quite delicious. (Plus we caught their happy hour on Thursday, so food was half off and drafts were $2 off! Score!)
