Domino's Pizza

I ordered a large, hand tossed pizza with garlic sauce, steak, bacon and feta. When I got it, there was a large spot in the middle that had bubbled up and the toppings slid off, they immediately offered to remake it as a Brooklyn Style promising it would come out better. The manager explained it was due to the combination of sauce and large regular dough. When it was finished it was worth the extra wait. They even let me take both pizzas. These guys went above and beyond.

They dropped my food off at the front desk of the hotel I was staying at instead of bringing it to my room even though it was specified to bring it straight to me. As usual I had already paid delivery fee and a 20% tip and I usually tip again in cash because I know the drivers appreciate cash. When I called to complain the manager tried to use Covid as an excuse for poor customer service I am tired of that excuse. I am triple vaccinated and wear a mask most of the time so I understand the seriousness of Covid so I find it offensive for companies to try and blame Covid for there incompetence. I enjoy dominoes jalapeño bacon bread and there chicken wings but I will never order from this location again.

Updated: Called yesterday for 45 min trying to order food No answer, the online ordering was not working and, when I called a Domino's down the road, they told me that the State location was just probably busy and that I was screwed. Fast forward to today. Ordered 2 pizzas and a pasta bowl for my family. Asked that the delivery guy not knock as my baby is asleep. He pounded on my door like he was serving me a warrant, woke my child, only to deliver two uncut pizzas. Do yourself a favor and just slam your hand in a door then cook up a Digiorno, because you will be less annoyed than when you order from here. .

First off I'd like to say that I've been working in restaurants since I was 15, so I'm more understanding than most when it comes to food-service mistakes. In fact, this is the first negative review I've ever posted. I received my order around 9:30 and called back within about two minutes to report some missing items. I was told the driver would be sent back as soon as they got back to the store. About an hour later, with no update, I called again. I spoke with someone else and they said they were behind on deliveries and would check with the drivers when they got back (not a very encouraging answer, and frankly I don't care if you're behind; I've been waiting longer than the new customers have been). I waited over an hour again and called back, this time speaking to the person that answered the first time I called. I explained the situation and they sounded genuinely apologetic, so I had a little more faith than I did before (this was around midnight at this point). Around 1:30, I discovered this particular store closed at 1. I ordered my food at about 9 pm. After calling back three times and waiting 4 hours, the issue was never rectified. I used to order from domino's quite a bit, and this was my first time in a while. I'm pretty disgusted by this experience and I can't foresee myself ordering from them again. My advice: order from local businesses, they need your support now more than ever. Domino's clearly doesn't care (I also filed an official complaint online and have not heard anything back).
