Lucky Kitchen Chinese

This is the best Chinese Take out I've ever had. Nothing is merely ordinary. Vegetables are crisp, instead of soggy. Spring rolls have medium size shrimp and been in standard. Prices are incredibly cheap. Best of all, they offer Dinner combinations and not just Lunch. For instance, China Gate does not offer dinner combinations which means you have to order rice, soup, appetizer and entree separately. For 7 bucks tonight I got a spring roll, huge portion of egg drop soup, fried rice and chicken and shrimp with zucchini and carrots. This place is awesome. The only bad thing is that it closes for a month after art fair.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! I never will again! THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS! I want to start out by having the owner look at the order history for our address. Our address has probably paid half of a month's rent for this restaurant or even much more! Just so the owner knows, they will never get my business again! Just ask the staff for the address , they'll know who this is. After waiting an hour and 25 minutes for our delivery I called the restaurant. The lady who answered the phone stepped away from the phone and yelled to somebody else in the restaurant how long to get to (name of Street). There wasn't time for her to dial, wait for the driver to answer, before I heard her say this. I heard the man in the background say 15 to 20 minutes. She gets back on the phone and tells me she called the delivery driver on the cell phone and he said 15 to 20 minutes ( the restaurant is only 10 minutes away from our house) and then explain to her I heard her conversation and she said, " oh I have to yell on the phone because he is old and hard of hearing." I explained to her that I had heard her talking to the man and I knew she was lying , she said no I had been on the cell phone with him. (The driver informed me that no she had not called him on the cell phone.) After confronting her with this information she then said," you placed your order online that's why it's taking so long." I informed her in fact, no I had called in my order. When she heard this she said, " you ordered over the phone that's why it's taking so long." During my phone call the lady had three separate lies for why the food was going to be here an hour and 40 minutes after I had placed my order. Never once was there an apology for the hour and 40-minute delivery. And to top it all off, the food was VERY cold when it got here! My wife's food was good, however mine was breaded so it was chewy and gelatinous. I wasted money on a dinner that is inedible.

The food was tasteless, I've had much better. The veggies were good but my shrimp as well and the chicken from the other people I was with were soggy and had no taste. The staff was very nice and prices are great, but the food wasn't. I ate my food in the store and there were flies all over my food and the restaurant.

I like the food here. I would have ordered much more in the future if it had not taken this gang of nitwits two hours to deliver one meal less than half a mile down the road. An hour and a half into the wait, I called astonished that it was taking so long and was sharply told it was still going to be another 30 minutes. Don't offer delivery if you are not equipped to handle such responsibility!
