Mrbrews Taphouse

Not a great place, we went Monday evening for dinner with my parents, and it was just an awful experience. The entire restaurant was pretty much empty, the patio had probably 2 families out there. We had waited a out 10 minutes for a waitress to come to our table for the drink order. Once she finally got over there, Jennifer took our drink order, another 10 minutes passes by and we have our drinks. My dad ordered the pretzels as an appetizer, those took 5 minutes which wasn't too bad. She took our dinner order, where we then proceeded to wait 45 minutes with no food showing up, my boyfriend then went to ask when the food was arriving, since no came to our table and told us about the wait. Jennifer then told him, "when your food is in the window, that's when I know it'll be ready." She came to the table 10 minutes after that and told us the food was just being put on the grill and it will be finished super soon. So we waited another 15-20 minutes, my mother then got up to go ask where everything was, and Jennifer then decided to start arguing with my mother, telling her she wasn't going to take the food off the bill, as she was trying to get our check so we could just leave and go somewhere else. My boyfriend then went up to the counter and asked for the food to be taken off, and she replied with; "Haven't you guys had to wait for food before, you guys are just going to have to leave hungry, I'm not changing your bill, someone else will have to do it." After about five minutes of letting Jennifer argue with customers, the manager decided to step in and fix our bill. Myself being in a food service industry and my boyfriend as well in the past, know a little communication goes a long way. There was literally none whatsoever. If you're in the mood to fight and beg for your food go check this place out, but if you're not then just keep driving and save yourself a headache.

Not a place to watch Wisconsin Sports! We stopped by for a beer and to watch the Brewers. We were surprised to find they didn't have the game on. They did have a college baseball game and Canadian football game on. We asked our waitress if she could have the Brewers game turned on, she said "No problem". We finished our beer and the game still wasn't turned on! When we left we told the waitress our concerns, she stated she had told the manager our request and he didn't chance the channel. I understand this is not a sports bar, if you are going to have sports on the TVs, have the local games on at least!

Was told there would be a 45 minute wait, that we were all fine with. When our food finally arrive we were told there were no more cheese curds which was what we were all looking forward to most. The fries we ordered (large) looked like what a small would be like they were served next to the burger not on its own dish so for all I know it's the same size as a small fry. Worst, the fries looked and felt like they had been sitting out for 30 minutes while the burgers cooked. Def not going back.

Went for Sat lunch, only about 50% occupied, after waiting almost an hour for food the server tells us they had a new person in the kitchen, apologized for the delay, stated food would be up in 10 to 15 minutes. The actual wait was another 30 minutes, 1.5 hour wait in total for 5 sandwiches and two sides. While waiting they also vacuumed the seating area above the main bar room which was very high pitched and loud which added to the frustration of the wait. When the food arrived the cheese curds we ordered were cold, they offered to comp them from the bill or put in a new batch. Despite the very long wait we also had to ask twice for the bill when we were done eating.Before leaving a different individual then the server who appeared to be a manager addressed us, she was not apologetic, and presented herself as being frustrated at us for having let the server know we were not impressed with our experience, there was no apology given, she stated their only other option was to close the kitchen. I wish they would have, we would have found a different option for lunch vs the poor experience we payed for
