Terrible experience. I normally go to the other Baskin in Appleton, but decided to give this one a second try from a prior less than average experience. On my first visit, the staff barely understood English and the ice cream was freezer burned with a strange taste. This visit was no better! There were groups of people in the store without masks on, there was no limit to the occupancy. A group of 8 younger teens came in and were not social distancing without masks. Aside from the clear disregard for health safety, the staff were wearing the masks incorrectly as well. Waffle cone bowl was not made correctly and the ice cream was freezer burnt with an old taste. Avoid this store and head to the other across town!

Haven't been to this location in more than 10 years and it's just as I remember, but with one key difference... the flavors are now separated so that cross-contamination with allergies is a lot harder. I was so excited to not have to worry about the nut-flavors because they were all in a separate case by themselves! It was nice to actually be able to enjoy my dessert worry-free! Thank you to the genius who came up with that idea!!!

We've had issues with this specific location before, but this is the last straw for us. We ordered ice cream from this location. We ordered two Reeces peanut butter cup sundaes, and even paid extra for more fudge. What we got were two, two scoop BOWLS, of Reeces peanut butter ice cream, so not even in a sundae cup, with ZERO fudge, so we paid extra for nothing. On top of past experiences with employees who clearly don't care about their job and do nothing to hide it, and many more incorrect orders, I am simply fed up with this location. Go to the one on Ballard instead. It's a much nicer establishment. Update: a few weeks after this incident, after my family insisted they get ice cream from here, I ordered ice cream once again from this location. The woman picking up my order had to call me because they couldn't understand my order, which is fine, no big deal. So I had to tell them OVER THE PHONE what I wanted, and when I received my order after almost an hour and a half of waiting, they still got it wrong. I literally had to walk them through my order step by step and they still screwed it up. Unbelievable.

We typically go to the other one however they were busy and ran out of waffle cones so we drove to this location. My husband went in and felt that the service was a little lacking, but then the worst of it was somehow our van got locked while running and our 1 and 3 year old inside. We had to call the police and had many customers come to check on us as they were leaving as it was clear something was wrong however the staff stayed indoors never once checking on us to make sure we had help coming or even to offer to put our children's ice cream in the freezer so it wasn't a melted mess. We will go back to the other location from here on out even if they are out of waffles!

I don’t t even want to give this location (College Avenue Baskin Robbins) one star, but it won’t let me write a review until I mark a star. I was treated so disrespectfully by the manager that I am contacting the corporate office to report his behavior. I purchased a beautiful but expensive $36.99 cake for my granddaughter’s 12th birthday. The label said it was white cake with chocolate chip ice cream. After she blew out the candles, we cut the cake. It was chocolate cake with mint ice cream. The girl at the store who had helped me find the cake had been very nice. I called her to tell her about the mistake - that the label was not correct. She said she would talk to the manager. She called back two hours later and told me I had to come to the store with the cake. I asked to speak with her manager. I was shocked by the way he treated me. My phone was on speaker, so everyone in the room heard his rude, disrespectful words. No apology. No acknowledgement of the mistake. He just cut me off when I tried to talk to him. I feel sorry for the young girl who works for him. I so regret that I went to the College Avenue store. I don’t live in Appleton, and this one was closer, but I will never go there again. The staff at the Ballard Street Baskin Robbins is terrific. It is worth driving further to go there.

First time I’ve been to a Baskin and Robbins in 30 years. They no longer have the German Chocolate flavor, which is what I was hoping they’d still have. Disregarding the immeasurable disappointment over that fact, there was zero customer service and I think one of the servers might not speak English, or at least not to an acceptable standard. The ice cream I did get was good, but I’ll probably never go back. Unless they bring back the German Chocolate flavor. The Stranger Things themed flavors was pretty cool, though.
