Legacy Supper Club

Our waitress was Awesome... my steak was awful, first it came out raw, cold center, I sent it back came back better but not as ordered. It was tough(ribeye). My son's steak was undercooked as well. Someone asked if it was better, I answered it was ok. Hostess never asked how the meal was, took my money and gave back change without a thank you. Not impressed for what was my birthday dinner...

First time and last time we will visit. Went here for New Year’s Eve only because we had a $25 of $75 Restaurant.com voucher. My husband ordered his steak well done and I ordered mine medium rare. The cook mixed up our orders so my husband needed to send his back. Fine, mistakes happen and they were short staffed, the waitress was very friendly about it. When we went to go pay the bill and presented the Restaurant.com voucher we were told by the owner that they were not honoring the vouchers tonight because they didn’t have time to call them in. I explained we weren’t told this and there weren’t date limitations listed on the voucher. Once again, this was the only reason for coming here. According to her, we were supposed to present it at the time we ordered (which is not listed in the fine print) and that we would have to come back at another time (insert her shoulder shrug). No thanks, I couldn’t exchange it fast enough for another restaurant.

Everything was alright until we were seated. The salad bar was lackluster in comparison to other venues in the area. When we went they didn’t have any soup. We ordered our steaks medium rare and they came out well done and very bland. My husband ordered perch as well and received two tiny pieces, no coleslaw and no rye bread (two very typical sides in a Wisconsin Friday fish fry). When we let our waitress know all she said was “Sorry- I can have them redo them”. We were very kind to her (it wasn’t her fault by any means) but at that point we were so disappointed in the meal and feared the replacement steaks may end up the same way. It was our first time at this establishment and really had high hopes based on reviews. When our bill came our waitress had actually made an error on that too and it ended up being more. Mistakes happen - we get that! Just disappointed in what we were hoping to be a nice meal for what we had to pay.
