Maki Of Japan

I'm confused as to the bad reviews on here for Maki. I probably visit this place 2-4 times per month and always have a great meal with huge portions. I typically go for the chicken teriaki with white rice and it never fails to be great. They are SUPER generous with the meat portion and it's only like 9 bucks. Also, to people complaining about the service...it's a mall food court. The staff does their job efficiently and well, so chill out, Karen. They seem pretty normal and friendly to me! The one thing I wish they had was yum yum sauce, and it would be perfect!

Went to this place for the first time. Now I know why there was no line. I thought it would be like Sarku but it definitely was not. Here it is like 5 hours later and I still have indigestion. Also the staff was not friendly at all. I ordered food for two so I needed a tray. They were out but they said I can use the dirty ones on the trash cans. I asked if I could give them one and could they wipe it clean. He said no! I insisted so the guy asked the older lady if they could do it and she finally did. I asked for napkins and the guy literally screamed at the lady and a fellow worker, "Napkins!" These people are clueless about customer service and the owner should probably read these reviews.

I recently went here and it was one of the worst places I ever been to. I got the chicken teriyaki which wasn’t bad but the costumer service was really bad and rude. The dude there was chill, the young lady was polite, but the old lady was just mean and plain out rude and yelling at everybody to hurry the butt up. I hope the employees get treated better. NEVER COMING BACK!

The food was very bland. The sushi rolls were tiny and they gave us small portions. The employees were rude, I ordered the same meal as another person and the lady was yelling at me that I didn’t order that meal. I know what I ordered and I’m sticking with it. I’m from California and will never come back again.

Just had something that claimed to be noodles and beef and shrimp teriyaki. Good lord this was thoughtcrime. Beef was incinerated on the hibachi, but happy that was at least theoretically fresh because the shrimp had been pre-cooked like the chicken, sitting off to the right side of the hibachi in a pile together. Who knows how long that chicken and shrimp was sitting there. And all for 14.99 with a drink.
