^_^ BuleStory review for Hunan Number One Restaurant 😊 So me and my hubby went here for brunch on Saturday, when we walk in to this restaurant, we kind of think this restaurant was closed but the door is open and we read the sign says open, it’s because there is no customer in this restaurant at the time, there is 2 person sit in the bar area and they look like the friends from the staff. But when we both says “hello!!!” and a staff welcoming us and my hubby ask “did you still do the brunch?” and he said “yes, we do, it’s all you can eat, all you can drink any of booze that we had and we serve by order, and you can sit wherever you want!” and we both says “alright!” after we sit down and read their brunch menu, we both says “wahhh let’s get insane!! hahahahahaha 🤣🤣” we say that because the brunch package is $25 per person and it’s include the drink so it’s pretty good deal and they had quite a lot of choices for the brunch menu but unfortunately there is nothing from that menu that we like 😥 so we don’t think we’re gonna comeback, so for us Hunan is not the number one restaurant, it’s just the name not for real…. so sorry that’s just our opinion 😭😥

So haven't gotten to all my food but used Uber eats to order from here while visiting. The picture below is a pulled apart shrimp tempura roll. Large pieces of lettuce and over cooked shrimp. We also got chicken and broccoli and the chicken was over cooked in there too. Smh never again. Horrible subpar over priced food. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Great place for Happy Hour. This place is known for its huge steins of beer which are a pretty good deal. I also love their General Tso's wings! Ive also heard their sushi is pretty good too. Their staff is always helpful and friendly. Great place to catch a game. It gets very crowded on weekend nights.

Every time I come here, I am surprised by how tasty the food is. I think of the place as a bar mostly. But while not traditional, the food is really good. I had garlic chicken on this trip. They added banana peppers which gave the dish a refreshingly zingy contrast. The dish had lots of chicken, mushrooms and bamboo shoots too. Delish!

Went by Hunan One for happy hour on a Friday afternoon. My husband got one of their ginormous beers for $4.75 and I got a sushi roll. The sushi was fabulous. Honestly one of the better sushi rolls I've ever had and definitely the best I've had in DC/NOVA. The atmosphere is decent, not somewhere you would go for a nice evening out, more just tables & chairs. And unless you like to be around a little bit of rowdiness, I recommend going to happy hour early, because after everyone has two of those large beers the noise level rises and the lights get turned down & the club-like music starts around 10pm.
