Menchie's Frozen Yogurt

We've been coming here weekly since their opening for a small treat and we just had my daughter's 4th birthday here. It was fantastic! Mark and Rob were great setting everything up and the entire staff was genuinely excited at the party! The kids loved when Menchie came out to visit (he even had a special present for my daughter!) and they loved the games/chalkboard/­balloons. And, of course, there's the frozen yogurt. The kids loved that they got to pick their own flavors and toppings (their yogurt is included with the party). Everyone got to pick exactly what they wanted. I was a big fan of the new mint flavor, but you can't go wrong when there are so many great choices! To sum everything up, my daughter left with a great big smile on her face and is still excited about it the day after, which is all that matters :-)

Yummy Yogurt! We've been popping in weekly since it opened and just had our son's birthday party here Saturday. They went out of their way to make our day special. My family loves the yogurt and plentiful toppings. I personally like the sorbet. Good news is there is something for everyone. Oh and my son has been sleeping with his Menchie soft plush every night and "making me ice cream". Good food, quality and fun memories. Thanks, Menchies!

The product is awesome and most of the staff are very courteous, but the last three times I decided to get yogurt on the middle of the day I have been treated by a an older woman with the most unpleasant welcome to Menchie's and attitude I have ever seeing. Tomorrow happens to be my birthday and today sadly I do not feel very good physically and is warm out and just wanted some of Menchies' yogurt good stuff. I love Reese's as a topping (is not healthy but is my treat) they happen to be out of it. So, I asked the older woman at the counter that was putting out more napkins if they have some more in the back. She looks at me and with a rude tone of voice and say's "I am busy". This sure took me by surprise and I said "OK!" I was pretty much done and ready to pay. So, I stand there waiting for her to attend me at the register. This other woman is standing behind me and noticed the attitude from the older cashier and she stops to contemplate. The older woman looks at her and with a forceful voice says to her, "Can I help you?." The lady replies, "She is ready to pay". At the register most staff always ask if you are a Menchie's member and are very happy and witty. I told her I am a member and she asked my phone number so she can look for me on the system. All of this with an upsetting attitude. Sadly, I am one of those people the environment and how I am treated tends to define my mood next. That joy of wanting a Menchie's yogurt ended. I paid and left. Not sure if she is the owner or just an employee, but I have to say she needs training on Customer Service and Stress Management skills. Due to the attitude of Clerk #38 as it says on my receipt I gave a three stars to this location. I hope she is nicer to customers and she can still do her job miscellaneous and help by answering simple questions to the paying customers like me in the future. You do not have to smile but at least be courteous and respectful to your customers. I know every one has a bad day, but so far I keep seeing a pattern with this individual. As a new Virginia resident and cheat day loving bodybuilder, I fell into a deep depression upon realization that the closest Menchies stood 30miles away from my new home. One day, a Menchies craving hit harder than Mike Tyson, without question I accepted the sugar quest that laid before me and ventured into Arlington, happily daydreaming of the frozen goodness that sat before me. I had not eaten froyo in a hot minute (summer body goals fam) so as I walked into the shop, excited to see a lineup of some new badass flavors, my inner 500lb woman hulk smashed the rude ass employees that ran this disaster. A million "out of order" signs gleamed from the uncleaned, MRSA-filled yogurt dispensers. My attempts to run out of the shop were promptly halted by the sticky floors that hadn't been cleaned since Obama took office. I looked around in horror, seeing this once elite froyo brand quickly disintegrate to the Sweet Frogs level ... The worst part of all, this location has a 4.5 star rating???? Well I'm here to lead a revolution. Listen up Arlington friends, you deserve better! There are Menchies locations that actually have freshly cleaned yogurt dispensers full of new flavors. These locations also offer clean floors, and spotless well-stocked topping bars ran by friendly employees who actually look you in the eye and formulate coherent responses to any questions you may have. Menchies newbies, please don't let this fraudulent location skew your perception of the best froyo corporation the US of A has to offer.
