Krispy Krunchy Chicken

The 1st time I tried Krispy krunch chicken was in Los Angeles and it was THE BOMB! So I decided I would see if there is one in Texas and I found this Arlington location and the one in Irving which i have never been to. The 1st thing I noticed was the stench when I first walk in and it gets stronger as you get to the restaurant. It's like a smell of old stagnant water. Secondly there was a 20 minute wait my 1st & 2nd time going, each time there were no sides. Such as jambalaya, red beans and rice, Mac and cheese nothing! 3rd I didn't see a health code rating anywhere in the vicinity. The prices are reasonable, chicken is good same as in Cali, just those few issues above. I think this is my last time going to Arlington location, the next time I decide to have a cheat meal it'll be at the Irving location.

Chicken was okay but was not as crispy as expected. I suspect it had been under the heat lamp a bit longer than it should. Also, the place was messy and dirty. When you run a restaurant, everything should be spotless. You need to thoroughly clean your kitchen. Bathroom was "out of order" but I saw an employee use it so I suspect they just don't want customers to access. They have a few tables to eat at in the store now. I also had a look around and lots of items on the shelves are way past their due date. Makes me worry about the freshness of their chicken.

1st and LAST time ever ordering here. Wings looks like from Walmart and was really dry to the point there was no sauce on it whatsoever NONE. Th chicken I ordered was not crispy at all, very oily with NO FLAVOR. The Jambalaya was very disturbing. It was coming from a foam full size cup. Rice was hard as hell!!! Worst taste ever. It looks like beans and rice. Worst place I have ever ate. Order was EXTREMELY LONG for 4 orders!

Best go to place if you want delicious, fresh, halal and 'fired upon order' chicken. Pricing is reasonable and affordable. Although it is hidden inside a corner store, the environment is clean. The gentleman and the young guy (who works there/probably owns it too) are both really nice/friendly and professional. This is my favorite place for fresh chicken in Arlington.
