Punch Cubby

This was my first time there. Went w/a friend for lunch and a bowl; however, due to the snow we didn't have time to bowl. Hannah was our server/bar keep. She was really nice and attentive. I had the wings as an appetizer, the coco dusted tacos, and I ordered a mule. They were served w/a side of black beans. The entire meal, including the wings, were delicious. My friend had the chicken and waffles that had strawberry slices and a side of syrup. She pretty much ate the whole thing! It was kind of empty (I'm assuming because of the snow and possibly time of day) but we want to go back so we can bowl too!

The table we were given was dirty and had t been cleaned from the previous guest. After being seated, we waited 12 minutes before our server, Kate, came over. For our drink order, we were given visibly dirty glasses that needed to be exchanged. The Featured punch bowl was extremely bitter (vodka, lemon, raspberry) and unpleasant. We had to ask for strawberry syrup to add to our bowl. I hate that Kate was working the entire floor by herself. She clearly needed help. The staff seemed overall inattentive and more concerned with socializing with each other than tending to customers. The food was great! After eating, we played an hour of bowling and Kate (a different one who was training Ruth) took very good care of us. The tequila punch and the whiskey punch was immensely better than the featured punch. This could’ve easily been an awesome night that ended up being a better than average experience.

Zack, our host, was very welcoming. He let us know they are short staff & currently did not have their full menu available. Ciara, our waitress, did an outstanding job serving a group of 6 people. Great atmosphere & good food. Lots of folks having fun inside & outside. We ordered the Hummus-GFA V & the Chicken Rocket Caesar Salad-GFA with Bud Lite.

Really cool setup and concept, but it seems they are either short-staffed or working with new staff as it takes a long time to be served and empty glasses/dirty dishes don’t get cleared. We alerted a server to a broken glass in another bowling lane and he never came back to clean it up, so we had to help them pickup the glass ourselves so they could keep playing. We also waited at the bar for about 5 minutes before a server suggested we go to the other bar to be served faster. The other bar told us their taps weren’t up and had to walk back to the original bar to fill our beers. Just a bit of an odd and disorganized experience, but otherwise it’s a fun place to hangout.

Please don't waste your time. We had such high expectations for this spot. We drove a very long time to visit because it had everything my friends and I wanted to do and to celebrate my friends birthday. So I called to confirm they had happy hour on Sunday and I was told " yes between 4-6" my friend even called to confirm, along with walking in the restaurant they had a sign promoting happy hour( false advertisement) We get there and they pretty much told us that the lady on the phone that we NAMED never said that. Manager was incredibly rude. We decide to start bowling and go ahead and place our order. We are sitting at the bowling lane and they assign someone where we were sitting, which was a bit annoying but we moved. We get assigned the only bowling lane with no lights, couldn't even see where we were bowling. incredibly disappointing. The server came back 4 times telling us they are out of vodka, and various other things on the food menu etc. We then decided to cancel our entire order because we just felt like a inconvenience and we didn't want to continue to be there. We had to continue our bowling but we were all starving and treated terribly. The worst part for me is the manager telling us we heard wrong about happy hour, pretty much told us we are delusional, even our server was like I'm so sorry she said that she's very new. Beyond disappointed the way we were treated. 10/10 do not recommend.
