It's near a busy intersection so it's tricky to get to at times and finding a parking spot takes a few extra minutes but usually not a problem. Oh, and because the space is small and therefore a limited number of people can be inside at any given point, there is usually a line outside never had to wait more than 5 or 10 minutes though Despite all of this. It's well worth it because of the amazing assortment of cookies they have.

Buttery, delicious cookies, from Florentines to mint-drizzled macaroons to white chocolate chip. You can smell the aroma of sugar, butter, and chocolate setting out onto the street from half a block away. A family favorite and a local-run business, these baked goods are a must for anyone in the area.

Delicious cookies in a wide assortment of varieties. Real butter and chocolate that you can taste. Definitely try the dark chocolate Florentines. Great assortment for celebrations!

In need of gift worthy cookies? Cookie Time Bakery is the place to go. There's too many flavors to pick from, you'll buy a dozen, trust me. And you won't regret it! They're so good!

Absolutely the best homemade cookies you could buy. All that butter and flavor . . . yummy.

Love the Smores cookie and peanut butter chocolate cookie. I’m hooked. Would drive 20 miles for these cookies.

We lived in Lexington for 33 years and Paris for 3. We bought cookies at this bakery on a regular basis and I can honestly that I’ve never found better cookies anywhere in the world. I live out of state now and this is one of the few food places I miss. It’s true that they are expensive. However, they are full of expensive ingredients, chocolate, nuts, BUTTER and are not loaded up with cheap sugar. They are cookies that appeal to adults because they are so delicious, even to people with educated palates. They are also beautiful. To the people who mention the cheaper cookies at Whole Foods: it all depends on what matters to you. They are not the same at all. The WF cookies are much sweeter and less buttery. Many of the WF cookies utilize other cooking fats instead of butter. I’d rather have one Cookie Time cookie than a whole box of WF cookies.

Back in HS when this was The Chocolate Box, I would come in and smell the cookies baking in the adjoining shop and ask for some. After that I would knock the door as they were only a caterer and ask to buy a dozen chocolate chip cookie for $6. When The Chocolate Box closed and the Cookie store opened in its place, I purchased a dozen cookies a week at $6 for years. Now that same dozen cost $22 so to expensive for my family. We get larger cookies baked fresh daily at Whole Food for $1 each. Honest they are just as good just not the variety as CT. At $22 a dozen this place has turned into a yuppie expensive shop. I have great memory form HS and the past but can no longer afford $2 for a small cookie.
