Everything I tasted from here was too sweet. The vanilla cupcake tasted like pure sugar without any of the vanilla flavor coming through. The frosting didn’t have much taste to it either. The carrot cake was better than the cupcakes, but even still, there was too much frosting within the cake for me. The carrot cake tasted nothing like the traditional carrot cake flavor. The cakes altogether were too soft and weren’t dense enough. You could compare these bakery items to something you would buy from Safeway.

This locally owned bakery is amazing! They have traditional German strudel and pastries of all different flavors, homemade European cakes, a coffee shop, and many German food staples (including imported cookies and spaetzle). The staff make everything on site and are so friendly. You can stop in here for a quick sweet treat or bring something home for a special occasion.

I kept passing this place walking home from the train after I recently moved here and I HAD to go.Having a gluten allergy has been tough and where i’m from there is nothing like this there that I can just walk to! Thank you for offering these delicious gluten free Dairy free treats and I can’t wait to come here to get my next birthday cake ☺️🌈🥳

This place is the only bakery we go to, even though it is quite a drive for us. Everything they make tastes like heaven. Prices add up fast, but I have never once regretted the price tag once I start eating. It's our one stop shop for *every* special occasion. No one ever gets mad when you show up with cake, that's a fact. Highly recommend their cream horns, cupcakes, strueselkuchen (I think I spelled that right?), coffee's, and individual struesels, but you literally can't go wrong. Their homemade raspberry, no matter what it is on, is to die for. A special thank you for my Birthday brunch cake (pictured). Not only was the strueselkuchen melt in your mouth buttery, but it was not even close to too sweet. I added icecream and ate it for dessert too, much to the dismay of all who wanted more for breakfast the next morning. If you are in the area and love baked goods you MUST go here. If there is a line, wait, it's definitely worth it.

You can smell this place as you walk up on it and it draws you in because it’s very delicious. You got to grab the tag number to get checked in and cashier Aaron did a great job. We got a breakfast pastry and a sugar cookie and we split the two, but the breakfast pastry was cold, I’ve never had it like that, but is still delicious. This place was very busy and you can actually see everybody in the back baking, just makes you want to buy a coffee and a pastry!

Great German pastries with gluten free and dairy free options for those with allergies. However, I do NOT recommend the GF cupcakes. For almost $6 each, they are mostly frosting and barely any cake. I’ve given them the benefit of the doubt and keep trying the cupcakes hoping it’s just a fluke but they are always like this. For German GF pastries Rheinlander is great but you can find much better GF cupcakes elsewhere, even at Sprouts for half the price.
