The Grandview Tavern And Grill

I came early for a lunch and had to try their wings. The 4 star reviews on Google kinda kept me away for awhile. Not sure why the rating is low I thought the food was great. Fried pickles, traditional wings and a side salad. I almost never order salads or side salads at restaurants because the greens are typically pitiful. I ordered the side salad with the house citrus vinaigrette because I saw one being delivered to another table and it looked that good, and it didn't disappoint. Wings are easily some of the best in Olde Towne other than New Image wings imo.

Went out sampling a couple places in Olde Town Arvada...The Grandview Tavern by far was the best for food, drink and service. The beer was poured to the top of the glass. The half salad was large enough for two and had a variety of ingredients that had our attention. The steak tacos (six) were seasoned and tasty. We asked for lime slices and thought our server would forget since she was busy...but she came through and was pleasant. YUM!

I've eatin some things from here before and it was pretty good but the hamburger was alright. The bun was just not sustainable for the burger and the patty needed seasoning. The bartender was nice but it took a LONG time to get us our tab as my husband's to go meal was sitting there getting cold...I will be back as the atmosphere is good and the employees are friendly they just need to work on quicker service and their burgers 🙂

I've been to Grandview a few times pre COVID-19 and I'll be honest the food was good, but service was just alright. Recently went back when a friend was visiting and we had Summer as our waitress. What a change a little time makes!! Summer was attentive, but not pushy. Chatty, but not fake. I'll absolutely be going back frequently!!

I'm visiting from out of town and we decided to visit the Grandview Tavern because their menu looked like it had something for everyone. We got there, ordered our drinks and salads plus an appetizer. We waited. I could see that it was busy and there was one bar tender. I'm fine when we have to wait but the bartender dropped off our drinks, went behind the bar, and was socializing with what I assumed were her regulars. We waited. And waited. She never touched base with us, never apologized. Nothing. She eventually was heading out the door to the customers on the patio and took enough time to say "I saw you looking at me but I'm busy" and basically proceeded to go on about how busy she was from the middle of the bar. She chastised us for being curious about our order. It was really unprofessional and I'll be sure to never visit there again. Working with the public can be difficult but you have the choice to offer good customer service whether you're busy or not. Honestly, I think she forgot to put our order in and did nothing to mitigate the situation.
