Rock's Chicken & Fries

This location is in the casual dining strip inside the mall next to the Lego discovery center on the 3rd floor. Google makes it look like it’s where Sacs 5th Ave is, but it’s about a 5 minute walk from there. I brought my kids there for lunch and the food was pretty good, smaller size portions for the price paid. Their chicken tenders were well cooked & slightly crispy, fries were good but not anything spectacular. My chicken sandwich was decent. We had a 2 scoop frozen vanilla custard for dessert with sprinkles and that was a good size and very good. If we come again I think we’ll skip the food and just get dessert. :)

Me and my husband were in line at the diner across the street when we saw a guy handing out menus. We got a free sample at the door and were hooked! I haven’t even finished my meal and I stopped to leave a review cause we love it so much! The workers are super nice and really enjoyed our experience. The ranch taste homemade too!!

I’ve been here a few times since the opening and tried a couple different dishes. I really like the buffalo chicken salad! And the chicken sandwich isn’t bad either. It’s definitely a step up from the lord’s chicken establishment nearby with just as many sauces to try with it. The fries are fresh cut style but not as crispy as I like. But everything still tastes great and you get a good amount of food for what you pay. I have yet to try the custard/milkshake but my friend got one recently and it looked delicious! I will be trying that on my next visit, especially with how hot it’s been!

Delicious chicken shop! I ordered the chicken and waffles and was pleasantly surprised that they use real butter and real syrup! That makes all the difference for me. The waffle was fresh and hot, and a great recipe. The flavors on their own were delicious. I ordered a side of their Buffalo hot sauce and was impressed with it, as well. Complex flavors, great heat that builds. You could tell by the consistency and flavors that it’s a homemade recipe where a lot of effort is put into it.
