Healthfull Essence

I enjoyed my first foray into vegan food. I am glad I selected this spot. I had a vegetable plate, lentil soup, unfish fritter and sweet potato bread. Loved the pairing of the soup and unfish. I forgot the name of my drink but it has ginger and lemonade in it and not standard sugar. The staff was quite helpful and they allowed my to sample the food. I really liked how they prepared the food with the seasoning. Parking can be issue depending on what time you go and they can only accommodate about twenty people at a time. I will be going back, remember when you know better, you do better. The food here is better!

Very clean and the food is always the best. Fresh vegetables, fruit and the gorilla moss is to live for. The service is always on point. They take their time handling the food and the food station is never dirty. The atmosphere is always that of love. I am always greeted with a "how are you" I appreciate it because you never know how a person is feeling. Healthfull Essence I really appreciate you all for being on of the best part of fresh food and fruit.

I tried their bbq n tofu at the vegan street fair on June 17th and wanted to write the review to applaud the bbq sauce. Perhaps i have to eat more tofu but to me the taste satisfaction with tofu depends on the sauce and the sauce healthful essence used had a nice blend of sweet and tangy. I didn’t taste anything artificial, it didn’t taste too sweet or too salty, and I could even see real pieces of garlic—they weren’t problematic to me—in the sauce. If the sauce I tasted is the same recipe they provide at the restaurant, I think the sauce alone is worth a try because not only can you eat the tofu but you can dump other things into it.

Outstanding! A little hole in the wall spot that can put some fancier restaurants to shame! I was kindly greeted upon entry and asked if it was my first time there. After responding yes, Willy Charles showed me everything (literally) that was available and then had me try about six or seven samples! I went with the curry ungoat, collard greens, rice and plantains. It was absolutely delicious and fresh. The great thing about the food was that unlike many places who add salt to the food to make it taste like everything else, they did not do that which allows you to taste the real flavor of the food. There are many options to choose from and they have really good natural drinks and vegan desserts as well. You will not be disappointed in the food or service!

Simple yet flavorful home cooking. Many options, hefty servings and very filling meals. Drinks are awesome as well, try the green lemonade. We didn't get sea moss but they it's available. Also they fill up your gallons with 9.5 alkaline water for $4. Can't go wrong with anything here. Super cozy and friendly environment. I can feel the love when I walk into this place.

This is truly a gem of a place. They have setup buffet like counters with various dishes on display, and we can either dine in or get a box to go. Their caramelized plantains are just too good. And their curries, vegetable dishes everything was so tasty. We visited twice, first time we dined in - they have a very homely ambiance. Another time we got to-go boxes and ate in the flight. Both times we were super happy, and the food is very healthy and gentle on the stomach too.
