Very classy, and holds its standards when it comes to hats and seating. Very relaxing in a very unrelaxing world.
Great date spot and definitely coming back. I didn't try any food, and the door fee was 15 a person which is a small price to pay for the exceptional band.

I'm a sem-pro jazz musician and every time I visit Atlanta, I make it a point to come to the jazz jam sessions at Churchill. They've been doing it for years and it is one of the best I've ever been to. The players are always top-notch; you would pay many times more to hear this level of music in NYC or Chicago. They are warm and welcoming and helping to keep jazz alive by giving younger musicians a chance to play with the best. Please show this place some well-deserved love, Atlanta!

Sam (the owner) is so sweet. He helped my husband propose to me back in 2003. Sam let him use the CNN booth in the back of the main seating area. They decorated it with roses, champagne and a cheese platter. I had the best and most romantic proposal ever thanks to Sam and Churchill Grounds. We are finally coming back for a visit after 10 years of marriage. We plan on stopping by to say hello to Sam, and listening to some great music.
