Saxby's Coffee

Cute cafe and good place to grab a coffee while studying! Got an iced coffee and a buffalo grilled cheese. Both items met my expectations. Reasonably priced. The barista, Heidi, was super helpful and attentive. She suggested her favorite drinks and food items on the menu, and her recommendations did not disappoint! The order came out in a timely manner so there was minimal wait time. I will definitely be returning!

Honestly, I went to Saxby before the renovation and it was hard to read the menu and very dark. NOW it is very bright and easy to understand. I got a cold brew coffee with sweet mint and it was really good. I don’t know what they use but it’s so good. I like mint flavor, but most places give you peppermint I know it’s weird, but there’s a difference. Also, the French muffin was great it’s reasonably sized and it was very fluffy.

I know a lot of people's reviews talk smack on Saxby's but I've been going here almost 3x a week for over a month and honestly? It's great, the service is always good. Im always greeted w a smile and they get my food out quickly and it's tasty too! I love the double bacon grilled cheese, although the 3 cheese one is excellent too. I would definitely reccomend this place to any student who needs a quick cuppa and snack (and doesn't wanna wait in the obnoxiously long Starbys line). First floor of the library, check it out!

It's weird that there havent been any reviews for over a year? They're ok though, the coffee had to be sweetened lots, but their grilled cheese sandwich was really good. Kinda expensive for what you get, youd think bc its literally in the library for a college it would be cheaper. Lots of people get turned away by the prices and would frequent more often if it was cheaper.

I don't understand why there's so many bad reviews. I come here a little less than once a week and I love it. The coffee is definitely better some days, but it's never bad. I haven't ordered food very many times but I've been satisfied each time. I've never had a bad experience with the employees. It's a decent little place overall and definitely worth it when you don't have much time in between classes.
