We visited Yay today and Yay did not disappoint. Everything was delicious 😋. We had the catfish nuggets that were seasoned and fried hard to perfection, shrimp po boy along with seasoned fries and let’s not forget the lite and delicate beignet’s. All mouth watering. We washed it all down with the robust Ethiopian coffee. The atmosphere was quaint & friendly. George the owner is so friendly and pleasant along with Angela the lady across from Yay who sells flowers. Our visit was long because we felt like we were home. You cannot go wrong with Yay🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾!

This is THE BEST place for beignets, kind people and comfort. Ask for the praline sauce… if you’re lucky enough to get it. I drive 45-60 minutes whenever I can to sink my teeth into these freshly made by order little clouds of love. They are ALWAYS fresh and delicious. Also, don’t forget the biscuits and breakfast sandwiches. Fantastic!

Had the beignets and fish on 11/05, and it was good. The beignets are a little too doughy for my taste, but I enjoyed trying it. Appreciate the fact that they made it fresh to order, but that also means longer wait times. Guess you can't have the best of both worlds.

My only problem is that I’m not a local but it’s certainly worth the drive or the plane ride. The beignets were on point AND that chicken po boy was EVERYTHING!!! When the chicken was gone the bread and hot sauce was a winning last bite.

I was looking up any bakeries or restaurants with beignets and this one happened to come up. absolutely amazing. they were so good and came with a lot of powdered sugar which is always the best part. service was great too very friendly and welcoming. i definitely recommend this place to get some beignets from!

The food and energy at this place was great! The beignets were the best I’ve had, and the praline bourbon and strawberry dipping sauces were to die for. 10/10 recommend, the food is made with care and love!
