Yes and YES and YES AND YES!!!!!!! When you see the grill outside you know what’s up! After attending carnival 2022 and being disappointed with the food…We were on the hunt for some great Jamaican food to settle our tummies. After reading reviews all the local Islanders stated this was the spot. And boy were they on point! Customer service was absolutely amazing and these were the best oxtails I have ever had and that’s a high bar to reach! We also got fried chicken and baby they had the graces ketchup!!!! If you know you know! The jerk chicken was amazing as well. The main thing that I really loved about this food was it was truly authentic no water down flavor and the spice was on point! We have deemed this spot Our Jamaican go to whenever we are in Atlanta!

First visit here and the hubby and I got 2 brown stew chicken dinners. So, we eat lots of Jamaican and I know that everyone makes theirs different which, I can appreciate. I read the reviews prior to coming and decided on the brown stew chicken but, I was not impressed. The chicken seemed to be over cooked and tough which was an immediate frown for me. The gravy was delicious though and I loved the potatoes and carrots in the stew. I don’t get potatoes in brown stewed chicken often so this was a different touch. The cabbage and rice and peas was average. Overall, it served its purpose (full tummy) but, I don’t know if I would give it another chance. Oh and they do give generous portions!!

I was around town and googled Jamaican restaurants this was the closest place. My best advice is to keep an eye out for the yellow signs on the sidewalk they’re not big but you will see the Jamaican flag on it also the parking is a bit tricky you have to turn in on the side next to another restaurant in order to get into the parking lot the restaurant is actually located inside another building. The food as pictured I already started eating my apologies. We got a stew chicken and a curry goat what they don’t tell you is the peas and rice is considered a side and so you have to choose between steam cabbage peas and rice and plantains. Food is very expensive I paid $15 for the jerk chicken it does come with a small container of sauce and the curry goat was $19.50 as seen on the board. Although, the lady who was cashing us out told me what the cost is $26 which we notice was the ox tail. Be sure that they are charging you correctly based on the price listed, otherwise it’s false advertisement. I gave them 3 stars for the food, it was OK! I probably won’t go back only because it’s expensive.

The absolute best oxtails I’ve ever had and they give you a lot! You will not be disappointed!! We heard another customer ask for a chicken patty. We asked the owner what is a chicken patty? He explained and we tried it. Their chicken patty is the bomb, the crust so flaky and fresh! We also tried their Rum cake. Yes I’m about to brag on it too!! Delicious is an understatement! If you don’t believe me just go try it for yourself!!

Was craving curried goat and found them nearby. The food was good enough except it tasted like the put too much pimento either in the gravy or when they marinated the meat. Also, I ordered in the store and even after repeating 3 times that I wants plantain instead of cabbage when I got home and opened my food… big big cabbage and no plantain in my plate! It was $20 for my meal and they seem to only have one size. They’re close to my house so I’ll probably be back but just make sure you check your meal before you leave the store.
