Mikano

Have not been here on years and really enjoyed it. Did and take service was great, was here for a company event so they're was a set menu however the food was really good and tasty. For the non alcoholic drinkers there was no coke zero, so water, orange juice or diet had to suffice. The ravioli was particularly amazing, I could eat 5 servings of those!

Had their high tea and it came above my expectations. It didn't look extra extravagant, but when it came down to taste, it was far better than the high tea I paid around 90aud pp in Melbourne. Service was great too. I loved how they refilled our tea in our cup so we enjoyed warm cups of tea throughout the meal. I would highly recommend and will definitely be back for more.

Great place for lunch ( and dinner, but have no been here for dinner time). High Tea was good. Just heads up, small portion for hot chocolate. Small Glass of hot chocolate 2/3 full due to froth. Also, parking is not free $4 for 30 minutes and Card Only with $0.60 for card transactions. (Feel like the mandatory transaction fees are a bit of a scam). Otherwise staff were good, view was good, environment was good and food was good.

I can not speak highly enough if our meal, and experience at Mikano ! The bar and waiting staff were extremely friendly and helpful...the meal was absolutely amazing ! Entree, main and desert were second to none ! We went for our wedding anniversary, and along with the special wishes with our desert, we also were surprised with a rose each ! We will definitely be back, next time we come.to Auckland...please make a reservation and go and enjoy Mikano... you will not be disappointed !

Very nice experience. We were given a set menu gift Grab One voucher which we used on a Monday night with no problem. We were seated overlooking the water which was lovely. For entree we had Crab Lasagne - great flavour but was cold in parts where it hadn't been reheated properly. Duck Ravioli was amazing. Mains were better, very hot Fish with crispy skin which would have benefited from a squeeze of lemon but that's just a small point, it was delicious. Mr's Steak was well done, then we remembered he was never asked how he wanted it, which would have been med-rare, however it was tasty and tender, but no sign of the cafe de Paris butter which was promised on the menu. Desserts were excellent, creme brulee perfect! rich and creamy with a good crack. Apple crumble delightful. A lovely evening.

We had the set menu. We loved the entrées, the duck ravioli and crab lasagna. Mains were good but nothing innovative like the entrées. I had the lamb rump and hubby and the steak, both were cooked really well. And for dessert I had the delicious creme brulee, I would highly recommend this and hubby had the apple crumble. Would recommend going in early to get a table by the glass for the best views. You would require a reservation as well.
