Denny's

This place is amazing. You can drop by and order from an absolutely huge menu any time day or night. Generous portions at reasonable prices. Friendly service, roomy, comfy couches, beautiful view of sky tower. Convenient late at night after gym. Personal favourite is Millenium Burger, been getting it for over 15 years.

It’s been about 3 years since my last visit to Denny’s in Auckland CBD. It definitely wasn’t known back then for their service but came through tonight and noticed a massive change. The customer service was exceptional! Friendly waitresses, Fast delivery of food, tables were cleared quickly and the waitresses would check in regularly. Keep it up!

The food was tee-lee-zious 😋 Service was on point. Friendly staff. The only negative thing about my visit was the carpark (underground carpark) omg it was nek level STINK i ended up wit a super bad migrane the second we left the carpark coz of the smell. Pls team, someone needs to get down there and clean that damn carpark.

As always with Denny’s the food is on the pricey side but it’s a good once in a while restaurant to go to. The food was quite nice to have, I especially enjoyed the curly fries. I reckon the burger could have been a little better but not as bad as some others have been. The oreo milkshake, as always, is to die for and is well worth the $9 you have to pay for it. Great atmosphere, and great for the family (it is a family restaurant after all). However I will say it is a little difficult to get to by car, you have to make sure you are in the right most lane to not miss the turn off into the parking. I believe it’s free parking as long as you eat at Denny’s. We just parked a little further away and walked which was easier for us.

Like the other reviews here, I do think Denny's could use more staff. While the entrance (by the stairs) kind of smells like urine, and the quality of the food isn't amazing, I do think the portions are massive and you get free refillable coffees (I had 3, no regrets) with a breakfast item. Strangely enough, for whatever reason, I do enjoy coming here. It's quiet, open late night and the FOH staff are friendly. There's something about Denny's.
