The Fish & Chip Shop

This is an easy review. We recently moved to the area and simply put this is the best fish and chips place in the area. Friendly staff, great tasting food with good portions. There is so many things I could rave about but the big notes for me is the burgers (they are not your typical "takeaway" burgers) really nice!! Also the squid is a must. Keep up the great work team. We continue to come here. 😊

You can tell that this carry out specializes in good fish and chips, because we had a great meal from here, and one of the best from any fish and chips carry out in the Auckland area. I called in my order, and it was ready for me when I arrived 10 minutes later. The fish portions were large, moist, and tasty with really crispy batter. Our chips were very crispy and tasty, also, with none of the “usual” taste that you get from other places that don’t use fresh oil. I also got the half box of salt and pepper squid, and it was crispy and delicious! The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning here as many times as possible during our stay in the area, and I would definitely recommend it!

Located @ next to corner shop of busy intersection. Courteous & polite staff. Quick order & cooking starts. 10min wait if order with salt/pepper squid. Tender fresh Hoki was fish of the day over a thin crisp batter. Squid was cook just right & a bite will separate it. Clean, bright & tidy ambience with 2 stainless steel table top for 4 dinner each side of shop.

They do amazing burgers!! Every time I forget to take a picture because they are too delicious:) Juicy patty, tasty bread bun, plenty of fresh veggie, perfect amount if sauce - all together makes great burger. Fish and Chips are tasty too. They always have a catch of the day fish. I usually preorder prior arriving to skip the waiting time. Very friendly people. Great prices as well:)
