My favorite restaurant in New Zealand! Steaks perfectly cooked and delicious. Garlic butter is perfect! They could open a unit in Brazil!

I went to this places with my friends and we just loved it. The service was amazing. We ordered lamb and the taste was way better than any other places that we tried it before! Loved the ambience..

The food is just so delicious here! Each serving are big to fit for two. I just loved the lamb and mashed potatoes here. Would love to visit again and try other dishes on their menu!!

Probably one of the best meals we have had in East Auckland for a long time. My prawns were the best ever and my wife had a great fish main, well presented and cooked. Other family members really enjoyed their ribs and burgers. Friendly quick service, Well done Lone Star

Delicious food! Great service too and was very attentive, despite us coming at a late hour. Would highly recommend the fish - ‘Rock the Boat’, sauce was tasty and big portion as well. Nachos had a generous amount of toppings and chicken tenders were great as well :)

Good for a family night out Botany's Lone Star is local and fits the bill nicely. Steaks, nachos, pork and burritos came out in an acceptable time frame and was universally given the thumbs up. Although I would usually like to grab a steak from a designated steak house not a franchise I found Lone Star great.

Had a wonderful time here last night, friendly staff, efficient and polite, very nice meal, we all had the venison which was delicious, all for a very reasonable price, great for families too.

Pretty quick service! Appreciated the buttons on the table which was easier than waving down workers. The garlic bread definitely left something to be desired - really yummy and soft bread, but definitely could do with more buttery-ness and garlicky-ness as well. Could really only faintly taste the garlic!
The New Porker was really delicious - wonderfully crunchy crackling and soft pork meat. Loved all the sides as they were complimentary to the pork. Great portion sizes for dinner and would recommend for anyone looking for a hearty meal.
