Good George North Wharf

Booked a work lunch with Good George as we'd had some great team meals there. Our booking was for 25, we pre-ordered our meals, drink service was fast and our meals all came out within 15 minutes of us arriving. Everyone fed, watered and back to work without losing too much of the day. Excellent management of a large group! We will definitely be back :)

Really impressed with everything here. Service was great even though the team were incredibly busy - nothing was too much bother, including moving our tables around. Quick with food and drink orders, really attentive to water bottles needing to be replaced. Team were all friendly, food was so great quality. A venue that seems to really take pride in every aspect of your experience. Thanks team!

Great service, friendly staff. This place allowed dog and even offered my Ocean a cushion so that that he be more comfortable that the holly seat 😀 we though that was very thoughtful from staff. The food was tasty. We enjoy our food. We had twice cooked pork belly, spicy octopus, and fried . Drink was espresso martini. The price was reasonable for the water front restaurant like this.

We had such a wonderful time here for our 11th year anniversary! I asked if we could get a window seat inside but with a view outside of the water as it was quite a cold evening and it was so kindly accommodated! The atmosphere was warm and inviting and for a Saturday night it was peaceful with just the right amount of ambience to it... the food was delicious and served so quickly to us, and the lovely lady who served us bought us shots on the house for our anniversary which was such a kind gesture! It made us feel very happy to know that our booking was actually read and someone had taken the time to do that for us... we will definitely be returning again, thank you so much! I didn't get our waiter's name, but i want her to know her service made our night that much better! ( she mentioned her own partner and their anniversary as well) ☺️

First night in New Zealand asked for a recommendation of where to go for dinner from the hotel and the front desk pointed us down the street a couple blocks and said to try something there. We saw the vibe going on in Good George through the windows and thought we would try it. We were greated immediately and seated. The waiter was very helpful and friendly and was willing to put in slight alterations to both our meals to deal with dietary restrictions/alkergies we have. The food was amazing. I had the Pork and Prawn salad and my uncle had a burger and shared his fries with me. Great food and atmosphere and super friendly helpful staff, what more could you want on vacation!

great Place for a social gathering, came here as part of a work function and had a great time. they had good food and did keep coming round to check on how the flow of drinks were going. my only let down was one of the wait staff clearing our tables forgot my order of drinks so i had to re order from the main staff who was looking after our group. The food was good and the place had a great vibe and atmosphere. would have been busier if it wasn't for the horrible Auckland weather. Would recommend
