Bandung

I'm sorry I didn't try Bandung sooner it's an absolute treat, and such a lovely addition to an otherwise pretty tired stretch of Parnell Road. We just wanted a light lunch so ordered some entrees to share, with house sodas. Everything was lovely, fresh, house-made and beautifully presented. The service was lovely and they've done a great makeover on the premises (formerly the Strawberry Alarm clock café). We will definitely be back.

A lovely, warm space, kind and feiendly service and great authentic food, some of it conpletwly new for me. We had 3 vegetarian dishes - gulai nangka(curry with tofu and jackfruit), mie goreng(egg noodels with vegetables) and tempeh bandung(sauteed tempeh with green beans), and loved them! It was our first time trying tempeh and jackfruit and it was a great experience.

I have come and eaten here multiple times for dinner. The food is exceptional, always with great portion size, flavour and very well priced. Great for sharing different meals with groups of people. What also stood out to me was the service we experienced. The manager is always cheery and welcoming, and the young, good looking, tall waiter with black hair (Louis?) worked very hard to ensure my friend and I had an enjoyable dining experience. I will be coming back, and would definitely recommend anyone looking to try a new place out in the parnell area.
