Ebisu

This was the most amazing dining experience! The food and service was second to none! We had the set menu and it did not disappoint, the flavour explosions were sensational and might I add even the simplest green salad was polished off! We will be back, on top of super kid friendly with activity sheet was an amazing with a young one which is what brought us here upon reading reviews. The authentic ambiance and Japanese experience was what hospitality is all about topped off with the perfect sorbet. This restaurant is a must when visiting Auckland. Thank you 🤩

Went for restaurant month and was a great way to experience the food Ebisu had to offer for a good deal, although the food from their permanent menu was much better in my opinion. The soft shell crab was to die for, and sashimi is always a win especially when they're as fresh as it was at Ebisu. Will definitely return to order from their permanent menu. Absolutely lovely service to add.

Had a birthday dinner here. The food was excellent. Miso eggplant and sushimi was beautiful. Baked salmon and beef Takaki was really tasty. The service was lovely, not overbearing. I do like it when they allow you to eat a dish before coming and checking if everything is ok. The house DJ was great too. Well worth the visit. Highly recommend.

Fantastic food, service, and atmosphere. The team are attentive and knowledgeable on both the food and drink menu options, and available to provide recommendations and alternatives where needed. The food is excellent, the Bento boxes are superb, and the Ramen too - you can request half noodles if you’re watching your carbs 😀 They cater for dietary restrictions. A bright and welcoming atmosphere, lovely decor, and good table spacing.

Awesome food. Friendly staff. We had the vegetarian tasting menu. I was a bit concerned it wouldn't be very filling but I was pretty full by time we left. Lots of small dishes over the course of an hour. Not rushed but we weren't sitting around waiting. The tempura was probably the best I've ever had. Light and crispy!
