The Mediterranean

The best meat you will eat in entire New Zealand. We have been travelling to south and north and we haven’t had this amazing meat. The bread is freshly made and delicious. You taste the authenticity and passion for food when eating the food. The owner of the restaurant was very hospitable and so nice. He comes and makes a chat with you checking in how you are and making jokes. If I would ever travel back, def pass by here again. Oh and don’t pass up the delicious baklava.

We have been to the Mediterranean a few times now and the food is just amazing. The hummus is just like being in Europe, so fresh and good quality olive oil. And the olives, yum yum. The lamb skewers are delicious as well. My niece has the margarita pizza which is delicious with the fresh dough which also comes with the hummus. Honestly all the dishes are amazing. The location is really nice inside, clean and friendly staff. The chef came out to give us our order for take away and was super lovely. I have lived around the world and I can say that this food is amazing. Good for a take out or to sit in. Highly recommend.

My partner and I wanted go somewhere nice and different. We went on a Saturday night and was no problem getting a table. We were greeted by a lovley waiter as soon as we arrived. We ordered fresh callamari and flat bread with hummus for our entree and a lamb and garlic prawns for our mains. Each dishes were beautifully cooked and had wonderful flavors of Mediterranean food. Service and the ambiance was great and we came home very satisfied and happy. My mouth is watering thinking about the tantalising food we had last night. We will definitely go back for more.
