Seems to be serving more than just delicious ice-creams and desserts nowadays but serving modern Hong Kong style dishes. HK style food is often a fusion of west meets east, with humble ingredients elevated to unique and maximum flavours different to other Asian cuisines. The cafe is not massive but the staff and owners are all super friendly and accommodating. The menu was not too long (a good size), but everything was very well made and tasty. They have made small tweaks to the favourites and made them all memorable. Highly recommended is the lemongrass white curry baked rice, which moved away from the ordinary to the best baked rice I’ve had in Auckland. Finished with a homemade black sesame ice-cream which is very moorish. Well worth the trip and will definitely return. Support local!!
