Came across Kubick looking for a quick bite for lunch, while exploring Auckland city, the good we very tasty, service was friendly and fast, a good surprise where the food portions, value for money.

A hole in the wall, no doubt. But good food, affordably priced. A great place on a cold, rainy day to grab a hot udon bowl. The katsu is as good as anything I've had in Tokyo.

The Sushi are beautiful and delicious. And the Bento are good value too.

I was surprised by the low rating rating of this place. Female owner was very friendly, and served us items off-menu. Food came quickly. Sake was decent for the price. I've been here 3-4 times over the last few years, and am yet to have a negative experience.
