Hello Mister

I really don’t know why there is a low rating here. This is one of the best quick Vietnamese eats I have ever had. Here in Auckland two days and had lunch here both days. So damn good. Fresh tasty and delicious! Great vegan options too. The veg pho is delish and so are their hand rolls. Highly recommended 👌🏼

Hello Mister has become my favorite no brainer lunch spot at work as I’m always satisfied with my choices and it’s always a good time for Vietnamese when I’m feeling indecisive. Staff is super warm and friendly and I’m an avid fan of the Madam Mi with lemongrass chicken and lots of chilli, Aunty Bun with Crispy Pork or the Pho with lemongrass chicken laden with chilli. I also like that Hello Mister is sustainable minded with their packaging. Highly recommended!

Came for a fairly late lunch around 1500. They were out of bread for the bahn mi so I went with a beef pho and a couple of hand rolls. the pho was quite nice. The broth was really fragrant and nice flavour. It also came with hosin and chilli sauce on the side. The hand rolls were ok. I tried the braised pork and the lemongrass chicken as the duck was also sold out. I found it a bit bland, mostly tasting of the vermicelli. the dipping sauce helped. I did find the skin on the braised pork to be a bit chewy. Although they are mostly for takeaway, there were a few seats on the benches around the kitchen to eat in. The food was quite nice and not bad considering they have just recently opened.
