Columbus Coffee At Mitre 10 Mega Takanini

I have always enjoyed coming here, and have done for as long as it’s been open. Today they were very busy, but don’t forget to smile, don’t just put the tea or the scone or whatever down, as if it’s a real effort. And when the tables are being cleared, how about once it’s cleared, it’s given a nice wipe with a clean warm cloth. The table I’m talking about had a lot of people dining at it, when I was there, we still have bugs and germs around, it takes a few minutes to do this. Don’t forget these two things, they are important. I’ll be watching when I’m in next to see if it’s done, I eat at many places and I’ve always seen the tables cleared and wiped, and also service with a smile 😊 no matter how busy it is.

I went there to have some lunch with my husband today and i was blown away with their hospitality. Staff is absolutely amazing, they keep on coming to tables to ask if everything is okay, topping up water, providing more tissues. Very relaxed environment. It was quite busy when we got there and we were a bit worried if it will take longer but the staff have provided everything on time. Coffee was awesome and food was very tasty, certainly going there again. Well done :-)

We went to this cafe for a business meeting, absoutely love the atmosphere. Lovely garden outside with plenty of water fountains, very nice and clean cafe, the food and drinks were made to perfection. Staff is super nice and friendly. I will be going there agin for more meetings. Keep up the good work guys, well done. Their choclate brownie is absoultely delicious.

We popped in for breakfast before we started our 4hr journey home and I can honestly say, our breakfast set us up for the day. The service was helpful and efficient. I ordered the Eggs Benedict with bacon which did not take long to arrive at all and it looked absolutely delicious - the quality of the food was great and the presentation was obviously amazing. Kudos to the chef who we thanked on our way out. Well done to the team at Columbus Cafe!

April 2023 We chose this cafe because it has ample seating for larger groups. We had 22 people in our group. The staff were very accommodating and maintained an excellent service for those in the group who needed a second coffee or more muffins to eat. A great two hours in a great cafe. Will certainly come again. Thankyou Columbus Southgate. Feb 2023 First time st this cafe. The food and service was very good and the staff seemed to be working as a team. They were pleasant and obliging. Being part of the garden centre helped make the atmosphere very pleasant. Are already making arrangements to have coffee there again.
