Finch & Fifth

Absolutely delicious! This was a very quaint restaurant with sophisticated taste. All of the staff was very nice and attentive, and our food tasted great! We got a charcuterie board as a starter, two salads, and split the dry aged pork chop. The only reason it wasn’t 5 stars is because they were unfortunately out of a lot of items due to their freezer breaking, so we had to change our order three different times (half of the charcuterie items, dessert, and some of the cocktail mixes). But otherwise we really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. We will certainly be back!

We walked in and came face to face with two workers who looked at us, but didn't acknowledge us. We waited almost five minutes before the hostess came around the corner to greet us. We were seated close to the front and I saw this happen several times. The worker look up, see a customer standing, and go back to their work. We were seated and our waited came about two minutes later. After looking the menu over and deciding on appetizers and entrees, we waited.....and waited......and waited. We came in at 7:00 and it is now 7:56 and we have no food or utensils...or napkins. But we have water. The restaurant is not full and we are sitting around other tables who also have no food. We are listening to conversations at other tables and they are out of a lot of items. Customers are not finding this out until 15-20 minutes into their wait. Another customer waited almost an hour and still recieved no food, so they left. There have been two other tables leave without reciving food. In the last hour our waiter has acknowledged us twice. Update: 8:05 food is finally coming out. We'll, my husband dfood came out, he finished his food and then my burger came out at 8:34. So...this would be a no for me. Oh...the food was good but not even close to worth the wait. My medium well burger was well done. I was too hungry to send it back.

Went for dinner (had deconstructed poke, which I reconstructed). Needs a little soy sauce, wasabi and ginger on the side. Then brunch on Sunday. Food was excellent, they've got some kitchen problems maybe due to staffing that had longer waits for food than were necessary and things out of order. Lobster Benny for Brunch. Would go back.

I visited Augusta for work, and I ate here twice in the same week. Finch & Fifth hit every checkbox for a lovely dinner experience. The food & drinks are both creative and delicious. The service was absolutely top notch. Did I mentioned their dog-friendly patio?! Overall, I had an exceptional experience on both visits. I will definitely be back when I return to Augusta.

2022....same amazing service...had Scott again & met Jack who was very nice. Food was absolutely delicious. Never a fail when we come for dinner . So..went for a quick girl's night dinner & who do we get Scott...& he remembered us from 2019..which was great 🤣 we did the half price charcuterie board & had appetizers & meals... it was so good...my ONLY complaint was that hasselback potato was not fully cooked but Scott went & got us another one. He is exceptional. The ribeye was amazing...perfectly cooked med rare...melted in my mouth. The bravas & brussels are so good. I get them every time. The meats & cheeses were delicious & we were so happy with our dinner & service. Thanks for a great night once again.

I had my first brunch at Finch & Fifth on August 22nd. I wish we had made reservations because apparently that was the way to get seating somewhere other than the 3 tables squeezed together next to the front door, even though we saw a lot of empty tables. So, it was hard to get a feel for the ambiance. Our wait for service was long, but our server was good. He was great at giving advice about what to eat and having the bartender create me a drink. Unfortunately, our charcuterie and appetizers came out shortly before our entrees. We had to ask for the complimentary bread and weren't given any preserve, which I learned about later. The kitchen was out of a few things we ordered. The food that did come was AMAZING! So, I'm definitely going to have to give this place another chance. The food was too good not to come back.

Went for my bday dinner with my hubby and kiddo. I was expecting a more classy upscale vibe, but it was more of a modern chic atmosphere. Food was okay just very small portions and nothing super tasty. I was expecting a very large scrumptious charcuterie board. It was tasty but a bit skimpy for the price . The server was nice but again nothing over the top. The lighting was very romantic though! I would recommend for casual dining with friends but not if you are looking for something fancy special occasion.
