Buona Caffe Artisan Rosted Coffee

Came by with my kiddo on a Sunday morning. Fella working there was very helpful, lady in there, not so much. She wasn’t very friendly but maybe that’s just her demeanor lol my daughter said ‘maybe she doesn’t like kids’. My chai latte was ok, not very sweet at all. Daughter had caramel latte and said she enjoyed it. Cute little place. Prob wouldn’t come back only because we traveled a little way to get there.

I just tried your iced mocha latte, it was nice. The staff was nice and the atmosphere is comfy and cheerful. I also tried your salami scone expecting the salami to be salty of course, but even the bread part was salty, overwhelming the salami taste and other ingredients. All I could taste was salt. I was disappointed but hoping if I mentioned it here that the recipe could be tweaked to highlight the ingredients and to make it healthier. I would enjoy coming back sometime to try some of your sweet baked goods.

This is the place to consistently get the best coffee! I've tried to find comparable coffee when we travel but no one hits their mark. And, now that we don't live in Augusta, I order online and we stay stocked with delicious coffee at home. Brazilian Cerrado Is my favorite, but there are many delicious choices and we drink them all.

I hate to do this because I have loved Buona since before they opened a store front. The beans they roast are still top notch, but the cafe has really gone downhill. The staff is no where near as friendly or capable. Today is the second time I ordered something as simple a mocha and it is missing the key ingredient.....chocolate. I recommended buona to my parents who were visiting from out of town and my dad was ignored and my mom's drink was so bad she tossed it. Please John and Pat take notice. Make your cafe as good as your beans.
