1102 Bar & Grill

This is basically a bar that is trying to sell an upscale meal. When you first walk in it has a very pungent smell. Should of left right then and there. It might be a great bar but just stick to bar food (at least the wings looked good). I started with the french onion soup, which was ok, but a lot of croutons in it. It was maybe...maybe a full ladle. Then I ordered the pork chops with mashed potatoes and seasonal veggies. I figured you can't really screw up that. Well they were very well done and one piece looked like they wrestled it from an animal before putting on the grill. The potatoes and veggies were the best part. And within 1 hour of leaving, I think I weigh less than I did going in...had been doing a lot of paperwork.

Stopped by after visiting the Whiskey Bar Kitchen first and being told it would be a 50 minute wait for a table for lunch. I was concerned when there was only 6 other customers here. I had the Spanish wrap with fries and it was delicious. Service was great and we were done before the 50 minutes were up.

Decided to try this spot out with sister as her welcome to Augusta meal. It wasn't too cold on this particular day so we sat outside. Our server was Otis. He was nice but you can tell he was just in it for the tip. The food was alright, DEFINITELY could have been better. Overall, I just enjoyed having a spot to hangout with my sister.

My mothers day experience. There was only one server so it took over 30 minutes to get our food, which was cold when we received it! The cook got my sister's order wrong and refused to correct it and she was still charged for a drink she asked to have replaced, i can't even remember what excuse the bartender made. My first experience last year was horrible and a year later my experience was just as bad!! Definitely wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!

April 24, 2018 Update!!!!! Be prepared for the cold microwave fries and the overly cooked burger. Also don’t forget the waiter will constantly mistakenly give you the wrong drink. I waited for my burger for a whole good 30 minutes and was presented with a cold burger and fries. I’m highly disappointed. This is my second time coming here and I hoped that this time it would be better. The cook probably warmed up your meal in the microwave and the waiter constantly waste time on cleaning the tables and checking to see if the tv works rather than greet the customers to seat. The only GOOD thing was the strong odor of Bleach and Fabuloso in the bathroom. The alcohol was simple and bland. Last of all, you want to go out to drink come here. But to eat, don’t even bother wasting 10 dollars. Another UPDATE!!! There’s no COOK and the owner lets the homeless man cleans for free food. Is it worth paying $10 cold meal while a homeless cleans another previous customer table for free cold food? Not worth it.
