Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

Dinner was great as always.. my hubby had the angel hair pasta with mushroom sauce and Italian sausage. His favorite.. we had salad and breadsticks. So good.. I love their salad.. I had my favorite chicken broccoli alfredo with bacon.. I can never get enough... then we took home the Italian donuts with the chocolate sauce.. Great atmosphere and friendly staff..

We drive over an hour consistently to eat at the Augusta Maine location. Service is usually hit or miss but the food is so good we deal. This Saturday really took the cake for disappointment. We waited forever for our table just to be sat and told there was no silverware and we were only getting the one set of silverware we were sat with.. there was two us. When the server came to take our order, we still hadn’t gotten our drinks yet. We told her we were hesitant to order because we were told there was no silverware and didn’t want to eat soup with our hands. She assured us she’d find silverware. Our apps and meals come out all at once, still no drinks or silverware. Couldn’t eat our food with out the silverware but ate what we could sharing a fork which is insane to me. Almost done with our food and still no drinks! So all in all, ate with our hands and sharing a fork. Had nothing to drink which after complaining enough they took them off the bill. Unfortunately they didn’t take off the food we weren’t able to eat because we didn’t have utensils. Asked for the manager and she never came to the table. So disappointed because this is my favorite place to go eat.

My son broke his collarbone and was feeling down. He wanted kids meal at olive garden. He's 13 now (it's for 12 and under) but I asked for it and waitress wrote down when I said kids meal. Didn't seem to be an issue. It was during lunch, I got bill and was charged for full adult meal. He didn't even eat half. The plate they served it on is sometimes how he's got it before. I explained if I had known they were refusing kids meal, I would have got him lunch special like I did. I continued to explain I tip well regardless of how low my ticket is. She refused to change it. I left her $10 cash on $28 bill anyway. It's the principal of it. As a business, you can't just act like you're giving customer one thing and changing it for more expensive and forcing them no choice but to pay higher. It didn't help that i could hear her talking about me in the kitchen. I've never left a bad waitress review. I used to be one. This overall experience and her deceitfulness to her manager are just not ok.
