Needed to get out a try something other than burgers. Ballydoyle did not disappoint. Ordered shepherds pie, was very tasty, it was tomato based, reminded me of chili but tasted yummy. Hubby had fish n chips always a good stand by, not too greasy however they have changed their fries to the "coated" kind. Personally we are not fans of those kind of fries, I miss the "normal" fries. Also out of the beers we ordered so went to the standby Guinness.

The limited bar staff works very hard, but if you're going to bring in a top notch band for entertainment, then you better have plenty of bartender staff available to handle the additional crowd that comes with said band. Two bartenders to handle this amount of people does not cut it. And don't make the excuse of well, we can't find people to work because of Covid, that does not cut it. Winners don't make excuses, losers do. Also don't like what's been done to the inside of the place, feels more like a wedding reception bar than the fine Irish pub feel it used to be on the inside.

We had our rehearsal dinner here for our wedding totaling ~40 guests. Food was great, staff was friendly and accommodating and Sara was very easy to work with getting this day coordinated for our needs. We were in the Loft area to ensure our guests can be together and enjoy our space privately. Thank you for letting us celebrate with your restaurant! Fun atmosphere and clean!

I went and saw Casey McGrath perform her fiddle Rock show here. This place is really cool. They have a wedding venue in the bar with a stage. The staff is out of this world. They actually look like they enjoyed working there. They were all having so much fun and were so on point with taking care of everyone. I cannot wait to come back

Too crowded, too noisy and the food isn't all that great. The last couple of times I was there, they didn't have a meal that was on their menu, and it was early evening. I'm not a fan of that. You get a taste for something, then you have to go through the menu and there won't be anything else that appeals to you. Service is usually lacking and slow. Sorry, but I cannot recommend.
