Great place, just across the river from down town. Make the effort to walk across the bridge to visit. Everything we ordered was great as was the service!

The food was tasty here. It takes a LOT for me to give 5 stars and I probably would have except 2 items: 1) some is overpriced. I had the scallops and they were amazing, but $30 for 3 scallops? I would have expected more like 5 for that price. 2) It was a quiet evening and at times I went a long while without anyone checking on me. If I could do 4.5 stars I would have.

Very enjoyable business lunch yesterday. Exceptionally friendly and competent service from the hostess to the waitstaff. I had a ground lamb burger and Caesar salad. Everything was very well prepared and properly seasoned. I'm looking forward to returning and trying more items from the menu.

Nice unobtrusive place. More than u expect from a place apparently serving hotel guests. Food is well prepared and served, by the glass wines are nice (we liked one so much we bought it for home at Total Wine). If u like medium thick, softer crust pizza, this could be your go to. The Margarita and the Spinach and Mushroom were seasoned to perfection for our tastes. Would have liked crispier crust though.

The restaurant smelled like raw fish so we sit out on the patio. I had the Pizza and it was surprisingly good. My partner did not like her cheese manicotti. It just tasted off. So the prices were way higher then we thought and was surprised.

I hosted a company happy hour at Zax with more than 40 people in attendance. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate my group both before and during the event. Everyone enjoyed the great selection of beer, appetizers and dinner dishes. On a personal note, I've been to Zax for small group dinners many times over the past year. The food has always been delicious and staff very inviting. It's my favorite place in Austin!

Great, delicious food. We had the Crab Louie and Blue Burger and both were excellent. Also, ordered the grilled shrimp(2) for starters and it was fabulous. Definitely we will be going back to try the dinner menu. Staff was very nice and attentive. You really need to try this place. You'll love it.

Good farm to table food, the calamari is delcious. Drinks are pretty good too. The happy hour is awesome, a lot of menu items are on there. Everything from pizza to burgers are only $6-9 during happy hour. Great place to eat at if you live nearby. Service can be slow at times but its due to lack of staff
