Chez Zee American Bistro

So gorgeous during the winter holidays! This place is so good. I got the reuben sandwich, which was great aside from burnt toast. It was super busy, and I had to get back to work, so I didn't bother the staff about remaking it. The valet parking helps a lot when it's so busy. Definitely a perk! Very good, quality food, but a bit pricey.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chez Zee in Austin, and it was nothing short of delightful. Founded the year I was born, it’s clearly stood the test of time and maintains a legendary status in my books. From the moment I stepped in, the cozy, bunny-themed decor transported me into a whimsical wonderland. The attention to detail was impeccable; every corner adorned with cute bunny figurines and charming artwork. The menu is a culinary adventure that I can’t wait to explore more. At the moment I’m only on the breakfast menu. I had the pleasure of trying the polenta Benedict and it was great. Threw in a side of gluten free pancakes, best I’ve ever had at a breakfast spot btw. The ambiance, combined with the delectable food and top-notch service, made for a memorable morning. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for a delightful dining experience, Chez Zee is the perfect choice. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu. A true gem in Austin's culinary scene!

Oh my god!! I was expecting this spot to be an overrated brunch/breakfast spot but it was amazing. 10/10 ambiance, there was a jazz trio for Sunday brunch. I made a large party reservation for a bachelorette party and the table was perfect and in a great spot. The croissants to start were to die for. And the portions were huge! I think the best item on the menu is their French toast, but I loved even the scrambled eggs and potatoes. Great experience, 10/10 bringing my family here again!

This was our chosen brunch spot per a native Austenite. Eclectic, good good good eats with so much flavor with every bite. I got the smoky chicken breakfast burrito I asked to add spinach and for salsa on the side and it was covered with a cheesy sauce. When I say every bite from potato to spillage of cheese sauce was good; I mean it. Have a look at the pics, again the aesthetic will enhance your taste buds, funny how that works but for and enjoy, you may even have some live music, this is Austin of course. Live it up!!!

We were smart enough to came a few min after the opening and were invited to the table right away with our server, Kyle, greeting us shortly after. Although i came specifically for a chicken and waffle, the extensive menu was luring my attention with other appetizing offerings. We appreciated in-house made croissants with lovely pre-mixed butter and jam. The restaurant is very spacious as well as decorative, a house of an artist, I might say. All our orders came in a reasonable time of being cooked to an order and were delicious. We left with a good feeling of being welcomed and valued.
