Mandola's Italian

This local Italian joint is unique in taste. Everything is made in house. Focaccia bread is served along with oil and spices while you wait for your meal. Their bakery is awesome, including a market and gelato case there is plenty of goodies to take home. Most definitely a “bang for your buck” type of spot. Enjoy!

I absolutely love this place, I'm just upset I didn't come here sooner. Upon walking in, it's a little tricky. You don't get seated, You walk up to the counter (where the chefs are) and you grab menus..then seat yourself. Once you figure out what you want, you go back up and place your order. I got the grilled chicken with vegetables and grilled shrimp. DELICIOUS. Well seasoned and veggies were grilled to perfection. Portions weren't small either. I highly recommend this entree. I didn't get any dessert, but everything looked amazing. Great date spot for sure, and make sure you come with an appetite!

Went to Mandola’s because we were looking for a good Italian place. I ordered the lasagna which was flavorful and fresh out of the kitchen. We also ordered the spaghetti. Some appetizers as well my favorite was the bread with the side of green sauce. This place has a great atmosphere, inside they have an oven where they cook the pizza which looks pretty cool, next time I’ll definitely be trying the pizza 🍕 that looked promising 😍. After eating they also offer ice cream for dessert and/or pastries. Definitely a great place to experience Italian food.

The Italian restaurant is a completely different atmosphere than any other. Here at this restaurant you grab a menu on the side of the wine bar and stand in line to order. Yes stand in line to order. Once you order your food they give you a number to put on your table. If you get there with a couple of people it’s best to have them go find a table , because it’s first come first serve. They will bring you your food to your table, and their service is fast. They have gelato, pastries , and more, they have draft beers , and more. I recommend. Mind you I did drive from San Antonio to Austin. Very reasonable
