Mother's Cafe & Garden

Me and my wife went for this place on sat evening. On that street there are couple of restaurants.Parking could get tight,you cannot park on streets till 7pm sat.There is ample parking opp to the place. Food and ambience was good. I would recommend this place and would go back.Also our server was very knowledgable. Seems like rice and black beans are almost every where for a vegan;)

It was my first time visiting here, been wanting to go for a while now. Now that I went, it didn't disappoint! The foods were delicious, could've had more flavoring though. The waitress we had during our visit was sweet and knowledgeable. There was also a guitar player playing lovely tunes in the more inside part sitting area, but once he stopped playing, there was no music anymore, so that audio change was a bit stark. Atmosphere was calm. Will definitely come back again.

Delicious, original, and very kind waitstaff. My wife did the vegetarian rancheros, and I did the stuffed pepper. Portions felt just right and prices were quite reasonable. Felt like a total family style restaurant from the 90s, which was a really nice change, and everything on menu is vegetarian.

I was looking for a vegan spot for dinner since a co worker of mine didn't eat meat, So I ran across this place. I do like the atmosphere, the servers and workers are friendly and you get pretty good amount of food for your dollar. My co worker and I said the only issue was that the food was bland and could have used a bit more flavor, other than that everything else was good.

Its refreshing to find a restuarant that serves vegetarian dishes that are this high quality and filling. The interior design makes for a relaxing eating experience, an excellent section for date night. The wine selection was spot on. My only issue with Mother's Cafe is that the menu is all over the place. I love getting free chips and salsa before the meal, but that clashes hard with my decision to order a pasta meal. It feels a bit unprofessional. I dont really have any suggestions for rectifying this, because I enjoy the variety on the menu. It's not often that one can find a vegetarian haven like this.

I was very excited to eat here because of the advertised gluten free options. It was so nice to have them labeled on the menu so clearly! In addition to Gluten free, vegan and peanut were also marked. While the food was good, our service wasn’t the best. It took our waiter 15 minutes to bring water and he forgot several of our order items and when we thanked him at the end of the meal he just said “mmhm” Other than that, the store was adorable and I would recommend coming back!
