I’ve been going to Almarah for a really, really long time. This place is special to my heart and I finally went back for the first time in awhile due to not being in the area any more, and they were better than ever. Food is hot and delicious and comes out quickly. Their pizzas are amazing, their gyro is the best I’ve had and they’re so kind. Please visit here if you have the chance. They also have a hookah lounge!

Just dropped in late night weekend for a quick bite. Got the fried chicken tenders. Thought I'd have small fingers or something of that sort. Was surprised at the quantity and quality. The chicken was delicious and the fries were AMAZING. The staff is polite and friendly. Lots of parking spots available outside. Definitely recommended to get fried chicken. I'll be back to try other food off the menu.

Almarah A Culinary Journey with Mixed Service My wife and I recently dined at our local Mediterranean gem, and the flavors we experienced were nothing short of delightful. The lamb and beef shawarma plate earned a solid 8/10 – a tasty blend that left us satisfied. The lamb kabob with grilled tomatoes, a perfect 10/10, showcased the chef's mastery, while the almarah pizza, a savory 9/10, was a delicious surprise. Despite the outstanding cuisine, our waitress seemed less than thrilled, making our first visit a bit dry in terms of service. While the food is undoubtedly the star here, those seeking an all-around dining experience might find the service lacking. In summary, a top-notch spot for culinary enthusiasts, but don't expect service to match the excellence of the dishes.

Almarah Grill is our go-to spot for Mediterranean delights, and honestly, it never disappoints. The chicken shawarma, falafel, and lamb chops are next-level delicious. However, the lamb kabab was a tad too chewy for my liking – probably won't go for that again. But hey, everything else on the menu is absolute perfection! Apart from their exceptional food, is the relaxed vibe. It’s the kind of place where you can unwind. Bonus points: they’ve got a hookah bar next door, so you can enjoy some flavorful smoke alongside your meal. Total win-win!

Its one of the best mediterannean restaurants in Austin. The interior is aesthetic and contemporary. Menu is quite extensive. We ordered the Mixed Grill, Chicken Khurafa, Cheese Pizza, Cheese Kunafa and Moroccon Tea. Mixed Grill Plate came with Salad and Rice. The chicken skewer was melt in your mouth delicious. Kafta Kabab was also great and the Lamb Chops are a must have. Chicken Khurafa was a beautifully presented dish. It had mild flavours though. Cheese and pepperoni Pizza was a hit with the kids. Kunafa was not veey sweet. I have had better ones though. Moroccon Tea was the perfect end to a fantastic dinner. A must try for any one who likes mediterranean flavours.

This place has excellent quality food, amazing service and a perfect atmosphere to relax and enjoy the evening. It's a byob establishment but offers some bottled beverages. I ordered the Hummus and a gyro platter as well as another app and chicken platter. All came with pita bread which was awesome btw and tazaki sauce. Definitely will be back to this gem

Our adventure on Mediterranean food continues and this week it took us to Almarah Grill Mediterranean Cuisine located in Lake Creek Square. We arrived there at a good time as not too long after we sat down, the restaurant started to fill up (After ~12:20pm). In order to compare it to other Mediterranean restaurants, I ordered the usual items such as Hummus, Lentil soup and Beef & Chicken Shawarma combo plate. The shawarma combo plate tasted great; the Lentil soup I found was kind of "weak" in taste but that might be because of my personal preference. I liked their Greek salad, the appetizer Hummus was excellent and the Pita bread... I adore their fresh warm Pita bread! The breads definitely made the hummus taste even more wonderful. The service was excellent and the time for food to come out was also reasonable. Overall, a very good experience.

We’ve been here on Saturday Night, it wasn’t it very busy, service was average. Kunafe and mediterranean pizza was delicious. Veggie platter could be better, as it had only 2 falafel balls ( never seen that before in any mediterranean restaurant) usually have 4-6. When we ordered food, we got it pretty quick, but they forgot our drinks ( tea and lemonade) and server didnt come to our table, we had to ask another server after 15-20 mins and he put in the order again and we got it.

Tried Almarah yesterday. We loved the food and the atmosphere. There's a wide variety of entrees on the menu to choose from. We got the garlic chicken pizza, hummus w bread, Fattoush salad, chicken kabab plate w rice. The food was tasty, high quality and served piping hot. It was served fairly quickly. The ambience is very nice, you get a full view of the street and the interior is very chic. The service however, was a bit lacking. The lady who greeted and seated us, tried to take our order, but, had a very limited proficiency in English. She had difficulty understanding our order or our questions about the menu items. We kindly requested another attendant/server who was able to take our order.
