Jim-jim's Water Ice

Delicious, the ice is the best consistency, it's literally everything you want. I really love new orleans style snow cones (snow balls) and I'd say that this is different, but related. The problem with snow cones and such is when the Ice is too chunky and all the syrup runs right through. This does not happen with theirs. Soo good. It's my favorite ice treat in Austin so far

Jim's is a like a snowcone stand but with something called water ice. Never had it until a few weeks ago, and I'll never eat a regular snowcone again! Super Smooth texture and awesome flavor. You can mix and match flavors and add cream or ice cream to them as well. Staff is always friendly and happy to help. I've been at least 10 times in the last 2 weeks as it's near a building I am Working on. Highly recommend it for you and the kids if your near by. Only down side is there are alot of homeless in the area. This is through no fault of Jim's but rather the city of Austin's bad decisions. Don't let that stop you though, just lock your car.

Delicious frozen ice, very soft and velvety but also refreshing fruit flavors. I was pleasantly surprised that the flavoring didn’t taste artificial, but every close to fresh juice. I got the strawberry lemonade and was so, so happy with that. My friend got the ice cream and also really enjoyed. We will be back!

Greatest ice cream experience of my life. The owner was incredibly kind and patient. As my first time there, he could tell I had no idea what I wanted. He told me that I could have some samples if that would help. Meanwhile, there were other people behind me, but he served me as though I was his one and only customer. I asked for an Italian ice pineapple/ coconut mixture, but he also has soft serve options. It was delicious, and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for good service and a chilly treat.

Highly recommend! The thing I hate about snow cones is that it’s eventually just Ice when the syrup runs out. But with the Italian shaved ice I believe it’s puréed so every bite is loaded with flavor. I love getting dragons blood and pina colada. Rated 4 stars because we used to be able to get it delivered at the office as a summer treat, but no longer is available on Grub Hub or any third party delivery that I can find.
