One of the best places to eat, period. Great food, great drinks, and beautiful lakeside views. It can get full quick, so keep that in mind. One piece of advice to management: have a button in the app for calling a waiter. The app is not a full replacement for service and it doesn't have everything we could ask for (boxes, water, etc.)

Great little hideaway. My hubby took me here for the first time. Bring your pups they are welcome. You can sit comfortably on the waters edge, have a wonderful cocktail and some good bar food. I had a great Cobb Salad and hubby had fried catfish. Both were really good. We went early on Friday afternoon and plenty of seating options...not sure what later on a Friday would look like...they even have a mini pickleball court! Delightful!

The recently revamped menu has elevated this place from a kitschy relic into a true Austin treasure. The service is also friendly, fast and attentive, even on busy weekends.
But the real star of Ski Shores is that unparalleled view of Lake Austin. The sprawling patio, complete with a fire pit and yard games, is the ideal place to soak it in over a leisurely meal. From sunrise to sunset, you can take in glittering waters set against the hills.
Whether meeting friends for mimosas or bringing the family for a weekend treat, Ski Shores has a welcoming, upbeat vibe. The renovation honored the original retro ski lodge charm while establishing a destination for incredible food and drinks you’ll find nowhere else in Austin.

Great spot- we were fortunate to have an Airbnb within walking distance to Ski Shore for the ACL festival this weekend. We were well taken care of by Pedro and staff. Each time we took an Uber to the festival grounds at Zilker Park was a good 25 to 30 minute ride so we made sure we had a good base of food in our bellies from the ski Shores café prior Saturday and Sunday.

I had the breakfast burger, Breakfast tacos, and the Lobster roll which surprised me how good it was. The food overall was great!

Super fun place! Lobster roll was MEATY, the bread buns are from Swedish Hill, the hamburger was perfect. They have cool cups that change color with frozen drinks. The frozen margs are strong and not super sweet …yikes, in the best way. We sat at the bar and both the bartenders were very attentive. They tasted every drink they made before they gave it to their customer and told each person if they didn’t like it, he would make another. My boyfriend and I played cornhole in the back for 2 hours after. They have a pickleball court , but you gotta bring your own stuff. Or you can buy their racket and balls for $100. They have a boat dock. Check out Float On for their taxi service !

Very nice place and environment. The service here is not the best and the servers are pretty much non existent. Here you order your food from a QR code and workers bring to your table. I like that they have napkins on the table. The food is a bit overpriced but the portions make up for it as they are so large. I liked the nachos and shrimp po boy. Great view while you eat. Really nice spot to chill after a long summer day.

The vibe is what this place is all about. We love ski shores. It just feels good to sit by the water and eat Texas comfort food.
The kids love the burger and chicken tenders.
I am good with a salad and some queso.
Was not a huge fan of the wings (I think their oil in the fryer is possible too hot).
The pimento cheese was solid as was the guac.
They used to have a playground sad that it and the arcade games are gone but still so much fun to go to.
We will be back.
