Papadom

How can I express how much I love eating lunch or dinner at Papadom? I love their selection of vegan entrees, you can never go wrong. I eat here multiple times a week, whether it's while I work downtown or order it through UberEats. The staff also takes very great care of you. The female manager, she runs it very well, and always comes to greet me even if it's busy. There is a great buffet at lunch, and I love taking my friends here so they can try. I always recommend to people traveling out of town during my work.

Really great lunch place. Their lunch buffet is well stocked and VERY well priced; especially for a downtown location. Everything I had was good. They had a great selection of both vegetarian and meat options. Personally I liked the spice level for a buffet, it was spicy enough to taste, but not too spicy for me to avoid taking friends who can't handle spicy food. My only suggestion, and I would say this for most Indian buffets, is that to make it perfect would be the addition of some kind of drink added to the buffet. Like an Indian inspired iced tea, or perhaps warm milk and tea. It wouldn't have to be anything fancy, but it would be nice. I usually just end up ordering a Lassi. But I do highly encourage anyone thinking about eating here to go, particularly for the lunch buffet.

Papadom is a great spot, especially for lunch with their lunch buffet. I usually make it there once a month during my lunch break because it’s near my office. The decor is on point for what you’d expect at a fine Indian restaurant, and they pay attention to details with beautiful plates, bowls, and flatware.

I have been ordering delivery off this place for a while but had never ventured to the brick and mortar. Now that I have, it has taken the lead as my favourite Indian restaurant in Austin. Staff are lovely, restaurant is spotless and the portions generous. Never too busy at dinner time as they seem to get their rush during lunch/buffet hours. The naan is huge, one order could easily do two people.
