Valencia’s Tex-mex Garage

Everything was good. We had a few different drinks, martinis were on point! (Pictured, carne guisada) We went for a birthday dinner and were served in a timely manner. The drinks stayed filled(full) all night. My only thing is why is it always a big deal for more than one check? You would have to take more than one pymt if the tables weren't pushed together!?!? Anyway, we'll give it another shot at some point.

We ordered the Thursday special, Carne Guisada and Tres Leches. All the food was well prepared and flavorful. The Tres Leches was on point so do not miss out on it! Prices were surprisingly easy on the wallet at around 16.00 a plate, 8.00 for dessert. One thing we were not keen on was the red salsa, the green was fabulous. The staff was quick, helpful and friendly....a good spot for a bite.

This is one of those restaurants that consistently delivers a high quality experience. The vibe here is very casual and the food is quite tasty. From their tacos, to burritos, to enchiladas, to soups, I’ve never had anything here that I don’t like. Their margaritas are especially popular as well! Recently I’ve been hooked on their Sopa De Tortilla which is a very savory soup of theirs which had loaded with rotisserie chicken and cheese, which is a healthier alternative to typically heavier Mexican food that you might order such as a burrito, without having to compromise on the taste. Best of all, there is usually very little or no wait time during peak hours when all of the other neighboring restaurants are an hour or more in wait time. Would definitely stopping by and giving this place a try!

This is a Tex-Mex spot that will hit the spot when you are running around the Domain and you need your queso / guacamole fix. The kids loved the breakfast tacos and shared the order. I forgot to get a shot of my fajita salad but was exactly what I needed it to be. If you were wanting an authentic Mexican experience or fine dining look elsewhere. Simple. Solid. Fairly priced for Austin. Great spot to bring kids or when simply running around.

Excellent place to have drinks and a great bite to eat with friends. The environment is indoor / outdoor. The service was fantastic. Multiple people helped to manage our table, keeping onto our drinks and checking if we needed anything. The food was fresh and true Tex-Mex. The salsa and chips were great. I wasn't a fan of the green dip, but the red dip was amazing. The fried fish tacos were full and very flavorful and loved the nice slice of avocado. I loved the beans they had a nice flavor. I do wish there was an alternative for rice as I'm not a fan. Also I would love to see some more vegetarian options available.

This is my 4th time coming here and it’s about time I leave a review. I’ve been here for both dinner and brunch and they don’t disappoint here! The drinks are amazing and so is the food- everything I’ve tried is so yummy. The chilaquiles, enchiladas and even the tamales were great! I love the outdoor seating and it makes a great brunch spot with their penny mimosas refills! Service is fast and attentive- very nice people! 10/10 go try it out!!!

This place was delicious!! The food was so good and the margaritas were very good and had plenty of alcohol. The service was great. We were greeted immediately upon entering and seated. The waitress did a great job taking care of us. The only suggestion I would offer is it would help to have someone check the restrooms every hour or two so they can be cleaned and sanitized. While we were there the ladies restroom was very nasty and the toilets were dirty. Overall our experience was really good. They also have TVs playing all the games. Margaritas and queso with ground beef are a must!!! I definitely recommend this place. Thanks 😊
